My first final fantasy...

Ahh Final Fantasy-1 I remember the good old days like it was just yesterday...It all started when I was 13 years old..it was summer at 1995,my aunt sent me a nintendo,his son already had a sega set so she gave me his old game.But all is well,Ive played all sorts of games namely pacman,castlevania,rockman,contra,ghost busters,blades of steel,mario world,legend of zelda,super mario-3....and so on and so forth...until I went to my neighbor and looked at all his games,I saw a bunch of games and played some for a few months and kept on coming back for new games,until I came across a game called Final Fantasy...hmmm looks interesting...so I tried to play it,but I didint get the game play.How do I play this?what is my mission?theres no guide no nothing!ahhh to hell with this...and so I stopped playing it and played my contra and finished it again for a hundred times....at some point,all the games I had were completed exept one...Final Fantasy...Ahh what the hell lets try it again....then I got the hang of controling my fighter,black mage,wight mage and red mage...hey this game is cool...I didnt know you could buy gear and make my team wear them...cool...(What an ignorant fool)and then after accomplishing a few missions,saving princesses and helping an elf prince,i got to a place where your characters change into different form wioth the help of a dragon named bahamut!the game got more and more interesting!and I just couldn't help being fascinated by the game...ahhh my first RPG!what an interesting tale..and now what new FF games to play!my path is sealed and my course is planned.....

dude, i grew up on the final fantasy series. i had the same problem you have had, i did not know how to control the charactors, but now that games i way to easy.

ahh, the good ole days. I was 7 when i first played FFII (really IV) on the SNES, and i just couldn't figure it out. then i came back a year later and saw the light of RPGs. I can't stop playing them now!

*Well I guess we all have something in common after all huh!We are the Final Fantasy Genre! that means we provide money,give countless hours of our time and give financial support to square to make new games to manke us addicted to again and so on and so forth the cycle repeats itself for our kids and grand children to come ...come to think of it...I dont care!hehehe You know if square didint make Final Fantasy...I think I would have made a game similar and somewhat spectacular...coz its my dream to make a video game too!

My first Final Fantasy game was FFI for the NES and eversince i was old enough to hold a controler i've been hooked would play it during December and non-stop till i beat it man i love that game

Alas I didnt get to experiance the pleasure till I was 13, when I played FFVII. I Constantly heard people going on about how great of a game it was so I brought it, since then Ive been hooked! Ive beaten heaps of them yet Im still going back to play them again!!! Plus the music is great

Final Fantasy 1

...Was my first FF game. I got it for my 7th birthday? I never got that far but man, I loved that game so much. I think I only got to the Volcaino, I couldn't beat the Vampire dude. Oh well, my team was awesome though.

the very 1st game i played wus FF3 at mah cuzo house den i went home n brought one for myself... shiet wus 60 buks... but it wus all worth it... cus its one of the RPG game that got me hooked... and now i collect dem hehe....

I remember my first Final Fantasy. It was Final Fantasy I for the NES and I remember it being the best game I played. It was my favorite RPG. I liked the Dragon Warrior/Quest series but not like Final Fantasy. There was something about the story that sucks you in and I thought the combat system was cool. Although in the very original you had to make sure you didn't attack just one thing. Cause if that creature died they still attacked that creature. Which would then cause them to swat at nothing. The new versions they automatically assign to a new target. Plus the creatures I felt were a lot harder in the original than in the new versions.

Well I never played any Final Fantasies til a few years back. When 10-2 came out it was recomended to me, I beat it didn't care for it much, and then was recomended VII instead which is wonderful. Wow I started late haha ah well.

I started with FF2 (SNES) aka FF4. Wow, this was a
while ago. I was in 7th or 8th grade, and my brother
brought it home one day from a friend. I took a shot at
it after he beat it. I loved it! (I never finished it
though, cuz my bro had to return it! ><)
I remembe the game being a billion times harder than
the FF4 I have now for GBA. ^^

I remember my mate, when I was 11, saying he'd bought a pretty cool game. I sat on his floor for about 5 hours watching him play, I begged him to let me borrow it.
He never got his copy of FFVII back, but he's still got my FFIX somewhere so we're even

Man...The Summer of 1990...Final Fantasy 1...I was...13..middle school..ahh.>that whole summer..me and my friend picked this game apart...at least 8 hrs aday. 7 days a week for 3months. We loved this game some much..we tried every single variation of class combos we could think of, we took the game genie and ran through 5,000 codes compiled by his Apple 2 computer XD This actually went on on and off till 97 when FFVII came out..and we restarted the process on that game..to this day I can run throught his game, without stopping in whatever order i choose and not even have tio think about what I'm doing..it's jsut..Instinct now.
