Well i hope that this is in the right place.. though i doubt it i need some help guys. I Figured that this would be the best place to ask for help... My ps3 suddenly stopped working.. it was completely random, i was playing a game then i put in a movie then it just didn't read the disc or something... Its very strange i took very good care if the system and never hit it or dropped it or mistreated it in anyway. Anyone have any insight on my problem.. I called sony and i have to fork over 150 bucks for a fix and if that can't fix it they will send me a new one.. totally lame man... So anything similar happen to anyone else here.. let me know thanks..

8,001    | Hmm.. try cleaning the lens? Though I can't really tell you how to do that, since it's a PS3 and not a PS2. ^_^;; But yeah, usually a lens clean fixes up any DREs.

77 | Is the problem only with the movie? The DVD's region might not be compatible with your PS3.
