I like that a lot, and seriously well done if that's one of your earlier efforts. I personally would prefer something inbetween the first and second drafts, if you understand what I mean by that.

Whatever the effect was that you did on the second one- changed the opacity, I think (but I know practically nothing about this kinda stuff tbh) I think was slightly too much. Basically, it would be cool if you changed it slightly less, so that it was kinda inbetween the two versions you posted.

But I really like them, well done

How did you do the merging exactly? I'm not really into any graphic stuff, but I'm still interested to know

well i had a few options like for this picture i took the other picture and used the magic wand to cut it out. Then i used glow and made it glow white,then i made the edges highlited and eyedroped the surrounding colors. After that i used the "make edges soft tool were it made the edges transparent...
