I just got a cell phone, and want to know how do u download ringtones?

Well it depends on who you have the cell phone through...

Try a ringtone website, that might work, i think they send you a text with it or something, try it

Or go to the official websie of the manifactures or company, and browse under how to get ringtones.

Or hell, phone them up and have them explain it to you.

This actually is a good thread, because I want to download a ringtone for my phone.

I have a Cingular Phone well it says Cingular and Samsung on it, I'll have to do a little research, but I want to get it on the phone and I have no wire to hook it up to the pc, will I be able to download it still wireless style?

You should be able to. I've "downloaded" ringtones for my phone from sites and just left my number, and they've sent it to me via that.
However, you may still need a connection wire to your computer from your phone. Perhaps going to the Samsung website and seeing if they have any FAQ's on it might answer your quetion a little more surely.

I've also had one of those "text this number to get this ringtone" slips. I did all that it said, but I got conned, so I don't reccomend doing that one.

Well, when I did it... They texted me, saying thanks you for buying this ringtone blah de blah... and then all I had to do was look under my ringtones and it was there.

I guess this comes under cell phone help. Well recently, my boyfriend called me a few times and we talked for ages, so when he got the bill he was pretty shocked. (It's international calls.) So I was wandering, if I called him, from my cell phone to his house phone, would it cost him anything? I know it'll cost me loads but whatever. I would have thought that if I called him, he wouldn't have to pay anything, would he?

The likliness of him having to pay as well, is slim.

A girl from America used to call me up a lot, she used to buy phone cards though... Meh. I doubt he'd have to pay. If he did, that'd be PRETTY ****ed up.

Yeah that's what I thought. When he called me from his house phone to my cell, it didn't cost me anything and cell phones are way more expensive that house phones. Thanx for clearing that up. ^_^
