Welcome to the Challenger's Lounge of The Red Streak Mercenaries

This is an extension of my Gaming Clan, but it functions primarily as a place to accept and make gaming challenges to anyone else.

All Multiplayer Online games are usable for the Pwner Club!
Joining has the possibility of finding someone else with the same Multiplayer game as you online.

You can set up tournaments and one player challenges to others just by posting and giving a small payment of forum credits as your own entry fees or none/just for fun activities. You set up the fees yourself.

Please Deposit the Fees into my account and I'll act as banker till the end, then distribute it accordingly.
Prizes and fees are unnecessary, but nice.

(Creators must pay same fees as well to join in the Tournaments/Challenges)
You set the fees and prize money. Winner take all style.

New Feature: Member Challenge!!
Now if you join, you may challenge any member(s) to any game on TFF even if they're not in the club.
The Challenger must PM me on the challenge and who involved. I will forward the message upon approval to the Challengee.
If they accept, then the challenge will commence at the agreed time.
If denied, the message will be returned and a reply PM will follow.

Tournament Rules

If you are posting an online tournament, you'll need to post your Gamertags here and on the forum.
(Xboxlive gamers need to post both here and in the gXboxLive link at the top of the forum.)

To compensate for the different time zones, you'll need to post the times for online tournaments in the standard 0:00 time zone (Prime Meridian).
(In your profile settings in the forum, you set the timezone yourself. Take that time and add or subtract it from the time you set.)

If you arrive late, don't pay the requested fee, or cause problems among the members/gamers, you'll be disqualified and lose any fee payed for the specific tournament. Fees will be added to the prize if already paid for.

canceled tournaments must be done 24 hours before the tournament is scheduled to take place. Fees will be returned to the respected gamers in that event.

Challenge Rules

For Gaming Challenges, upload your submitted game data on http://www.thefinalfantasy.com/forum...w.gamefaqs.com within the respected games.
Please use PSP, PS3, PS2/PS3, Action Replay Max, and PC formated data to be reviewed.

They must have a time beginning and time ending, and must be possible.
Hacking games and game data are not allowed. If found they will be disqualified from the events.

New Ranking System.
Deck of Pwns (DoP Rank)
Based on card numbers with the suit in Pwns.
Everyone starts at "Duce of Pwns" and must work their way up to the upper ranks through challengels and tournaments.
Each member may implement a tournament or challenge risking any number of ranks in order to move up.
Losing a tournament moves you down a rank.
No Rank Risk Tournaments and challenges move up ranks by one. Each Rank risked adds to how many ranks you can move up.
You cannot go lower then the 2 rank, but you can't enter tournaments that cost more ranks then you have to enter.

Each rank may be put into your Sig or online profile.

The mind-numbing, up-chucking, up is down and down is left map that you shouldn't play while drunk or high is the stage for this free for all.
Map: Distortion Version 3
Gametype: Random Slayer (Winning points 30)
Winner: One Rank Up.
Cost: Nothing, but must play on a Full Stomach.

I don't have a 360, but it's on the to-buy list sometime this year.

I'm going to trade in my Virtual Fighter 5 for the PS3 for the Online Version for the 360.
That way, I may be able to have a VF5 tournament among the members.

For reference, here's my current PS3 library --

There are a handful of other games that I used to own (R6V, Madden 08, etc.) that I hardly ever played, so I traded them in a while back. I took down an inventory, so it's around here somewhere, but not really important since I don't have them anymore anyway.

Oh, and on Tuesday, I'll have GTA IV, so there's always whatever online interactivity that may have with it that we can mess around with.

I figure a game list would help out so that you know what we could play together, or for challenges, or whatever.

If you're switching VF5's, count me in. I play VF5 and Dead or Alive 4. So if you get DOA 4, count me in as well. I don't have a PS3 or any FPS's. Just let me know when you play VF5.

Wasn't able to trade it in... forgot it at home. lol I'll trade it in as soon as I can.

But I got Army of Two for the 360.. Don't know if that game is cross platform.

I wasn't sure about DOA4, never played them before.
Reserved Soulcalibur 4 though.

My Multi Library:
UT3, Resistance Fall of Man, Armored Core 4, and COD 4 all for the PS3.

360, I got, Army of Two, Halo 3, Ace Combat 6, Chromehounds, Perfect Dark Zero, and Forza 2. Oh, and Alien Hominid on Xbox Arcade too, lol.

Yeah, I plan on getting Soulcalibur IV, and DOA 4 isn't actually all that bad. The fighting is fast paced and involves countering.

Alright, I'll pick up a copy of DOA4 this weekend when I get paid.
Along with replacing VF5. Anything else I should pick up?

Was playing Ace Combat 6 just a half hour ago, was winning quite well, but I think I ran across a hacker in one match.
He was on my side, but his kill rate was way too high to be normal.
3 on 4, we won by over 30000 points. (somewhere over 1000 equals one kill)
My score was 9600. His score was 25300. In 10 mins. Didn't die once either.
Way too high for the aircraft he was using. Same as mine.
That's why Hacking is illegal in the club.

Is Eye of Judgment any good?
I was debating whether I should get it or not.
Another collection game.... Got too many right now.. lol
Probably should sell some.

As no one seems to want to post again, just yet, I'll have to double post. lol

I got VF5 and DOA4 Sunday, so if anyone wants to challenge me to a match, feel free to do so. As well as any other game I have or might get. Just name it and I'll probably get it.

Transitioning from the PS3 controller to the 360 one is kinda hard, especially with fighter games. The Dpad is the problem; it feels akward. It's to the point that I need to use the Analog stick for controls. I even had the batteries die on me in my first match.

I'm currently on a losing streak of 2/11 on VF5. I keep getting close to winning, then the person pulls off a chain and ends it. A 10 Kyu taking on upper level Dans isn't really good either, I guess.

I think I'll implement a Pwnage Point system into the club. Although it'll have ranks, it's not for control of the club, just to show who's the best gamer around. Maybe playing card ranks will work, like Ace of Pwns, King of all Pwners, Queen Pwner, and such including special banners of each rank.... But I'm still not sure. If either of you two think it's a good or bad idea, just say something.

...Who the heck uses the D-pad on the 360 pad? It's so ugly and horrible. I use the joystick believe it or not. It's much better and more fluid to play with. The dpad is very tight on the controller.

You should be using the stick anyway. XD I'll probably ask you to play one of these days.

hey you can sign me up for the xbox 360 games..and if you want to challenge me send me an f/r on TheMightyFoXDi3, thats my fighting game account.

I have Capcom vs SNK2, Guilty Gear XX, Halo 2 & 3, Army Of Two, KUF: Circle of Doom, and a few others I think that I forgot of, lol. I also plan to get Soulcalibur 4 once it comes out as well. Oh and yeah if any of you play PSU on the 360 I am on that sometimes as well.

I always play on the d-pad for every fighting game I have, regardless of system.. my friend says its not a good idea because it is harder to transition from that to an actual arcade joystick, but I seem to do quite fine with the switch as well.
