Well, my puppy is a lot better. But three days later one of my other dogs got bitten by a snake. She was really bad.. her blood just went really runny and she was bleeding out of everywhere and her saliva went really thick and she was choking on it. She is at home now and is a lot better but she isn't making any red blood cells so it's still uncertain whether she will live.

Apparently, the people who have lived where I do now for ages say this year has been the worst for snakes because of the drought.. no they are coming out in hordes. Which is a pain for my dogs who like to kill them. Anyway. My dog is ohkay so i'm relieved <3 But the other one still needs prayers <3

I'm going back to Melbourne in December. I'm very fond of it and it is a beautiful place, I wouldn't mind living there. <3

My trip to Melbourne is happening after all! Flights are all booked. I'm there from the 4th of October until the 9th. The first night I'm going to be staying in Bacchus Marsh, not sure where else I'm going after that! It'll be a bit of adventure. Last time I was in Victoria (last year, September, for a single night), I only ventured out to the now-legendary Narre Warren, and Cranbourne. So I've got a bit of exploring to do in the next few days!! Can't wait.

Oh you're so lucky. Melbourne is a wonderful place and I am sure you will have an amazing time. I am thinking of possibly applying for a university down in Melbourne because I like it a lot. Well, someone there also a lot.

I guess I will just see how things pan out.

Haha. I know how the liking someone in Melbourne thing goes. I've only been doing it for the past year or so.

Actually saw him while I was there.

I got back today though (what's with everyone freaking out over QANTAS? I flew with them today and it was one hundred percent fine. Plus, I got a window seat so I was actually able to sleep this time around! [I hate not getting window seats, unless I'm with someone else and can lean on their shoulder as a pillow or something!]). I ended up going to Melbourne, Bacchus Marsh, West Footscray, Drouin and more. It was quite the adventure. I'll have to post stories/pictures sometime soon haha.

Have to say though, the difference between there and Queensland was quite noticeable! First off, the weather! It was freezing there. Secondly, the public transport! They are a stickler for it (but also have better public transport than we do). You ALWAYS have to buy a ticket with them, whereas in QLD I find it so easy to jump on a train without buying one, hehe. Thirdly, the no reception on my phone in Bacchus Marsh! Booooooooo!

Hahha. I jumped the train for the first time the other day. Accidently though as my friend bought the tickets and didn't tell me it was a single. Haha, but pretty much everyone I know always jumps QR trains. It is incredibly easy to do.

I do love the trams and all the public transport I used got me on time and was very effective. No half hour minimun waits like here in Queensland which is a nice bonus.

Oh really. It seems it is the thing to do. As someone at my work is also dating someone who currently lives in Melbourne. It seems Melbourne x Queensland is very common.. well I know three in the same situation as me which is quite amusing =]

I am glad you had a good time and you should share pictures =D

I have a friend who lives in Melbourne, she moved there just after we finished high school. She loves it down there and is used to the colder weather haha. I don't think I would be able to live there, I thought it was cold enough up here this winter. A friend of mine who is a member of this forum lives there too, haven't heard from him in a while though.

Lovely rain too by the way. I just don't like the fact that it's cold here because of it.

It is true though that Melbourne is colder then here. But you get used to it fairly fast and it is worth it. Melbourne is so, so beautiful =D

Yeah the rain has been great. It has made it cold.. but we need it terribly where I live so I guess it is worth it.

Work, noooo. I'm lucky, my job doesn't require me to work on weekends. I only work three hours a day Mon-Fri since I'm only a trainee. I work about 7-9 hours on the school holidays. I don't think I would be fond of working on the weekend! A lot of people have to do it though.

Anybody watching the Bathurst 1000? I am sort of, probably on and off. I am going for Holden of course. Fords suck.

Hahaha. I do like the new Ford cars, they're nice but I'll always be a Holden girl. I have a Holden car, a Barina but still Holden. My cousin is a HUGE Ford supporter and it's pretty funny, he likes to argue with everybody.

I saw some car thing on TV this morning in passing. Some utes were racing.. Maybe that is what it was. I know nothing about cars you see xD.

Yeah work sucks. But I don't work during the weekdays except for Thursday night because of school.. therefore I kind of have to work on the weekends ><. But I do need the money for schoolies and for my car so in the end it is worth it. =D

Haha in Primary School I remember always saying Fords are Found On Rubbish Dumps.

But yeah. I have a friend who is dating someone from Melbourne, and he's from Queensland. They are fast approaching their six-month anniversary soon! I also have a friend who is dating someone from Sydney. He was from Queensland originally, but has been living with her in Sydney for the past few months - I'm not sure whether that's permanent or not, but it seems to be going swimmingly for them, as they're in the USA together at the moment.

I posted a couple of pictures in my Journal.

I should start watching the Bathurst 1000! Unfortunately, I know nothing about cars.

Wow. It really does seem like Melbourne x Queensland is the thing to do. But I can't help it. If anything I find it incredibly upsetting that the guy is so far away. But I can't do anything. But oh well.

I don't know anything about cars either, my Dad and brother do but I sure don't. I haven't even got my license yet. I have a car but I don't drive it! I'm not in any rush to get it though, I only work down the road and my Dad is nice enough to take my mother and I places. Mum doesn't drive either, she was always too nervous to get her license. I don't blame her really, I get that way a bit too. All my friends drive but I just.. don't really care at this point of time. Maybe soon I will get into it, or later.

I can't wait until I get my license.
Which will be soon.
Because I will have freedom to go whereever I want and do whatever I want. I am really excited about it. I already have a car.. so I need like 20 more hours and i'm gone. Whoohoo =D

But I don't know much about the mechanics of a car.. hohum. So I wouldn't know what to do if I broke down.
