Why do you want to join The Aussies of TFF Club?
Because the old DAC is no longer active, neither is my old acct... so hey, new start right?
What are you interested in?
Books, games, hanging wth freinds for a few brews. Art, graphics and getting ****ed off at lecturers. I like crappy tv, but some good stuff also. People with intelligence, who have a god story to tell, or at least a good moral at the end of it.
How active are you?
online or the real world? I play soccer irl, and dance alot whilst out, nothing beats a live band. Online... well concidering this is my first day with a new acct, good. I hope it to stay that way.

Usually, I just celebrate it with my Australian side of the family. But this year we are going to see the French side so therefore we will celebrate with the Australians on Christmas Eve.

We are doing the very big aussie sort of thing for ours, much bbq, looking after the younger cousins and pooring the aunties champas ^_^ Its only every second year, but when it comes around its so much fun. Boxng day is just as good for us, as its 'cut and come again'. ie- all the left overs, we get on boxing day hehe
Can you really beat an true aus chrissy?
Priscilla, are you going to france for the chrissy festivities? Or just that side of the family that lives in Aus?

Yeah we had/have family troubles too but my Dad and a couple of his nieces aren't talking, it's a long explanation so I won't bother boring you all to death but yeah, they ignore my Mum and Dad and have been for ages. The reason is quite ridiculous and it's real immature. One of them actually spoke to my father today, plus my aunt. Her daughers (My Dad's nieces) won't let her talk to my parents but they did today and my parents were very shocked. It has been so long since they actually did but I have a feeling that one of the daughters won't be very happy about that. She's a stupid *coughcowcough* .

Some people just hold grudges for ages and are silly about things. It's good to see that perhaps a couple of them have gotten over it.

I'm just going to see that side of the family. They used to live in France but they moved here now. So therefore ti is nothing too exciting but Iguess it is difference then an average Christmas.

Setsuna: Yeah it sucks when family doesn't get along. But at least they are starting to talk again?

I suppose so, I don't know whether all of them will talk to each other again but we'll wait and see. One of the daughters is a real... I won't say it! She came up to my Mum in the shopping center once and told her off over something so stupid. I wish she'd do it again because I'd tell her where to go. She's a real know-it-all and thinks she's the best but I have news for her.

Only 3 sleeps to go now, that's pretty awesome! I am starting to get excited about it but not as much as I used to haha. My nephews come over and keep eyeing off the presents under the tree, you know what kids are like! One of them reckons a heap of them are for him. It'll be great on Christmas morning though, hopefully the weather decides to be cool. It's supposed to be 27°C for a lot of areas around south east Queensland but we'll see. It it is then that'll be great, it would be nice to have a cooler Christmas for once.

We were originally having our Christmas party at my Aunt Gloria's house (this is my Mum's side of the family) but since my uncle Ray is in hospital and isn't expected to live much longer, they are going to have the party at his wife and daughter's house so in case the hospital calls and such.

Yay not long now, im looking forward to the 5 hour drive to sale with my bustard ankle

But i got my 2 major presents yesterday cos there kinda intertwined

A 80gb ipod video: my old one broke and cos of the long car trip, my parents thought it would liven my spirits.

$150 in sanity gift vouchers: i got scrubs season 6, 3 cds (the prodigy, faith no more and pantera ) king of the hill season 3 and black sabbath:the last supper dvd.

I also bought my parents their gifts and gave them to them

I bourght mum a digital camera, i think it was aorund $200
and i got dad a revving alarm clock? i dunno he wanted it, some dvds and some jeans

So I had a good day yesterday.

Ahh yes, what did I give my mother? I don't even know if I would be able to list it all.

- A kettle, an expensive one mind you but she liked it the most so I got it for her.
- A CD - Bon Jovi - Lost Highway
- A tin full of lollies, I think they are just fruit jubes.
- A casserole dish which was difficult to wrap!
- A pair of shoes, yellow which is her favorite color.
- A teddy bear, she loves collecting them.
- A DVD with Jon Bon Jovi (Her obsession)
- Season 3 of Miami Vice (that's for both Mum and Dad).
- Forgot to mention earrings!

Ehh.. that could be it, I can't even remember now. I spoiled her this year since she's been so good to me.

My Dad I got:

- A drill set, he loves building stuff and such out of wood.
- A pack of two DVD's of one of his favorite shows.
- Another season of another favorite show, mainly British comedies from the 60's and 70's.
- Some building stuff for him to make bird cages or other goodies.

Mum already knows everything she got, Dad doesn't though.

I can't wait for them to open their gifts though, it's great to see them happy.

Wow you got your parents a lot. I just keep it simple. I got my Dad two cds and my mum the Medium boxset.

Yep, that's exactly right. I just wanted my Mum to have a special Christmas this year so I got her a lot more than normal, she really deserves it though. I think this is the first year I could really afford all that stuff as well so that's another reason why there's so much for them.

I ended up dyeing my hair yesterday as well, or last night even for Christmas. It's a lot darker now haha, the color was called Intense Plum and I really like how it turned out. At first I was like 'Ehh..' but I think it's great now.

Shopping again tomorrow for all the salad foods and stuff for Christmas day. I can imagine how busy it is going to be. >_<

I keep meaning to dye mine too, but I never get around to buying the dye. My mum wants to come with me to pick out the colour which I suppose is fair enough. Glad yours turned out nice, Setsuna.

Christmas eve and I'm still not excited at all. I'm wondering why it seems to bland this year...

Just found out a few contreverisies for todays christmas (its 12:19am here, so technically it's today.)

Apparently my brother David will be late due to spending the morning with his girlfriends family. It's complicated, so we dont really hold it against him. We've decided to open the presents at 11:30am which kind of sucks.

Family time > Presents IMO, but those morning hours will be boring. Probably have to do chores.

I'm getting my first PS3 game for Christmas and I'm very excited. It's Assassin's creed, I had to buy my PS3 but I had no more money for games, so I'm glad I'll be getting this game from my siblings.
