Akira - I know how inactive we have been. But I'm not going to let that mean I cannot speak in character. To be honest, I only said those things because that's what my character would have said. If you want to think that what I'm saying is what I, as a real person, think, then at least try to contain your temper a bit. I agree with Vicky that this should not turn into a flame war.

Oh, and I do want to point out that your attempt at making me irate (the intentional mispellings of my user name) have not only failed, but shown how immature you are. Please, can we *not* resort to things like that? The war will not be decided by flaming each other. With words, anyway. Fireballs and swords, are a definite possibility.

As it stands, I believe these are the members of The Masters willing to commit to battle:

- Nyarlathotep
- Slim
- Grimmjaw
- Darkwolf

Also, there are two others I have yet to hear from. I hope these five are enough, should the others prove unwilling.

OOC: We're speaking in character because it will be, in fact, the characters who are involved in this war. For the most part we speak in character in The Masters, why should that change because oher people have decided to keep a watchful eye on the clubs happenings?? How about you can assume we speak in character unless you see OOC. Makes sense.

EDIT: At what point did you determine that our master must be present?? I read your initial post, Akira, and I saw no signs of that specific factor. We will fight whether or not Anomaly shows up. Also, you state in that post that it is a 5 warrior MINIMUM, and that you have reserve warriors. Therefore if Anomaly was to show up, all that would happen is another set of fights, no one needs to be replaced by Anomaly. That is unless, of course, your 'reserve' fighters are independable. In which case YOU will be the ones who are outnumbered.

Anomaly's Presence is not neccisary. In a time of war, the leader of the Masters Military Division acts as a second in command and will take the place as the leader if need be.

So until Anomaly returns, I will take his place.

While it may not have been directly noted within the declaration of war and the terms of battle, I thought you guys would possess enough intellect to be able to think the obvious consequences of some of the terms for yourself. But let me assist you, otherwise you may never understand simple matters such as this. If the terms of battle are that the losing faction is destroyed forever by the other, is it not obivous that the leader of both clubs would have to be willing to close down their thread?

We will gladly fight you in either case, we just don't want your incapable leader to start bitching when he realises his "precious" faction has been leveled to the ground.

Again an equally amusing attempt by you to present the BoD as inefficient. But I stress again, it is your club and not ours that is showing an absolute incapability to deal with the latest occurences. The list of ready fighters we drew up was actually not a complete list. We have far more fighters in reserve than you could imagine. Our reserve fighters alone would overwhelm your regulars ten fold. If you want, I can draw up a more complete list, but then again, you could not even forge an army of ten, whereas the BoD army is infinite.

So we will be bringing one of our fighters out of reserve and into the main battle. Very well then, we only have valuable fighters anyways, each one is worth his hype. Bring on whatever pathetic army you want.

I think you'll find it was one H.P Lovecraft who invented the name. And it's ridiculous because it was supposed to sound ancient egyptian - at least, I think that's what Lovecraft was going for. Nay, I am not one to read all that often, unless its online. I can't really force myself to read books often, unless they have a truly interesting topic, and I don't say "truly interesting" lightly. My BoD brother Bryan would have been informed of that, I believe he is a Lovecraft fan if there ever was one.

Even if Lovecraft's books are popular, his names are still not exactly what one could call easy to pronounce.

I believe it was the moderator, actually, who was going to close down our club, not Anomaly; so it is in fact completely devoid of any obvious assumptions in that regard. I also have been meaning to question your conditions. If the Masters were to, by some "crazy" stretch of possibly, win this war; is there truly any hope on our part for the Brotherhood to actually honor the agreement and close the club?? I think not.

That is a severely ill-educated and false attempt at an answer. Are you completely ignorant to what has been going on?? We have already amassed a solid 5 fighters in the first 2-3 days since the declaration. We have over ten days to continue preparation! I don't think we are showing any incapability at all. In fact, we are showing a very eager will to do battle with the scum that is the Brotherhood, not in any stretch of the imagination an "incapability to deal with the latest occurences", as you would put it.

I don't see how it could be too hard. Also, to the BoD, if you request a 5v5, it's JUST 5v5. There's no such thing as reserves. You either have your warriors ready to fight, or sit down and shut it. I don't mind whom I end up fighting.

Unlike your pitiful club, we are a faction steeped in honor and bravery! We would not equal cowering curs such as yourselves that run from the terms of battle. If we lose, we close down our club, no ands, ifs, or buts about it! But you so forget one thinf here...we CANNOT lose!

How impressive...you've resorted to having to recruit outside your faction although a TRULY organised faction would only have its greatest and most powerful fighters on the front lines. After an obvious lack of knowledge for two days who should take up the temporary leader position, you had a member ready to flake off and join the BoD, have no organisation as to who will be allowed to fight (I reference Dante's recruitment of 4 non-Masters members, which completely disregarding the three that had answered the war cry), and the fighters you DO have at the ready are all amateurs at best, not the supposed "solid" fighters as you would surely like to have it. But excuse me if I actually confused you for a disorderly mob.

Getting ready for battle is no show of organisation, it is common procedure and is a criteria that must always be in place...

I know all this is "in character", but that doesn't matter. In character or Out of character, you still have to keep the rules in mind.
