On the subject of fighting games, at least between SC and Tekken, I'm going to have to give it to Tekken. I've always been a big fan of the series. A big fan of King in particular. Once you get his moves down, dude is unstoppable.

Though SC2 was sweet. The only person I am any good with is Ivy. Everyone else, it's pretty much a button mashing fiesta.

I like doing Yoshimitsu in all of them. The only thing I have to avoid is the Harakiri move. Yeowch. Yoshimitsu has a kick ASS ending in Four, though. *watches a BOD namesake explode*

Ok fine then. It doesn't really prove anything concidering I got it free with a Tekken game. But you'd be amazed to hear what people belive.


Anyway I forgot to mention earlier the big difference between Soul Calibur and Tekken is... *drum whirl* ..you need skills to play Tekken, in SC you just need fingers and buttons. I know tons of wicked moves and combos in Tekken, many of which are hard to complete even though I know how to. Playing SC I don't need to know anything, I would just press the buttons like crazy or something and do a whole lot of combos and shit.

Bryan, Heihachi, Law and Lei owns. Oh yeah I got some nasty skills with that petite asian, what's her face again?

Actually you do need fair skills on SC to be any good. A pro tournament player could really pwn a button masher. For any game, really. Though you do have a point in that SC requires less skill to start out with, but overall, it would still be preferable to learn the techniques.

I'm no Tekken pro but I know about 5 times as many moves in Tekken as there is moves in SC alltogether.

Slowly, he walked over to an orc standing idoly by himself. Cassuis roared like a demon posessed in its ear causing its head to explode in a rain of blood, flesh and brain matter. Sudden the other mutalated slaves took notice of his being and fetch him an inhuman amount of virgin blood and mead as a token of welcome.

But as he was presented with this small offering, a sadistic smile crossed that pale face of his. Eyes burning with murderous intent, his sword shot itself out of the shadows, impaling a line of five elves to it. As if with a mind of its own, the sword chook of the now dying flesh, tearing into more of the worthless life he saw around him. Cassuis laughed at the sight, enjoying the torment he adminastered. But in the midst of the slaughter, the black fire still hung on the wall producing more beings. As if being rejected by it, women where thrown from its black depths onto the room around them. As about twenty women now littered the floor, too filled with fear to move, Cassuis turned to them; that evil smile still across his face. Without eveing turning to talk to them, he called to his brothers.

"I brought you a gift for all to enjoy. Tourture them. Rape them. That matters not. What might matter to you is they are fresh virgins I have come into posession on my travels."

I always say that but its always so fucking long between each of my posts. It makes me wonder where the hell do I was my life? But thats something for another time.

As for Tekken and SC, I've never been on SC so I can make no remark on it but as for Tekken, Tekken 3 was one of the first game sI got when I had a PS. And that was years ago. That game was the shit back when I had it. Now its just Mortal Kombat which is ****ing brutal.

I'll say one thing though, any of you heard of or played Soul Blade? Now that was a ****ing badass game. Using weapons yeah, not everyones favourties, but like Tekken it had some skill to it and it was ****ing amazing.

Edit: And on just a random note, I've been listening to Agalloch - The Mantle a lot lately and I think I'm becoming ****ing obsessed with it. So before I let it rule my life, any know of something new I could use to distract, myself with?

Xiaou? I like Jun and Asuka best besides my own Yoshi-chaaaan. Jun kicked ass in the second game. She OWNED... and Asuka had one of the funnier endings too.

Spoiler: Even though Jun was supposed to die in 2, she is apparently alive as of 4.

...now that is why I like Tekken. Though I do believe SC was the first to have a story battle between the two.

I think Jin is just a monster on the Tekken games (although I haven't seen the new ones so I don't know if he's still on them). I've only ever played 3 and 2 thinking 3 is the better. But one thing that I think is weird on the games is the amount of secret and overly powered characters on it. I mean, look at 3 for Ogre, True Ogre, Gon and all the other Randoms. Sure it was good getting them but they were too ****ing good if you but the computer on the hardest settings

Tekken ist krieg compared to SC. I always played as Yoshimitsu, I never play as any other character whatsoever. I am lethal with Yoshimitsu on Tekken 5 as we have it in the canteen at work. I had 11 wins in a row the last time I played it against 11 different people, the only reason I got off the Playstation II is because I had enough of owning all the fools.

Anyone know how far Toph is with the judging?

Last I knew, he was up to Toromor's battle. He may have it done now, though.

As far as Yoshimitsu goes, it's true, he dominates...if you know how to use him. He's definitely not a button mashing character (see: Eddie Gordo). I definitely wouldn't use King against him, though King is pretty much the only character that I play with.

Actually, when I was over in England, I took my PS2 and my games with me. The only person that beat me was a button masher that was using Eddie...and we all know how annoying that can be with all of his Capoera dance move shit.

For me, there's only one choice when it comes to Tekken....
