War of the Lions: Quick PSP related question

So I just got a PSP for Christmas(I know, finally) with War of the Lions. I'm wondering, does everybody's PSP slow down gameplay slightly when magic and other techniques are being used? Mine does, and the sound effect of the technique gets slightly out of synch with the animation.

Just wondering if I should go to the store and complain about faulty games/systems, or if everybody else's is like that.

It's a regular issue with every copy and it's considered normal. And really, it's only about a second of lag. Honestly it's not that big of a deal.

So to answer your question, no, don't go to the store and complain. You'll look like an idiot.

Well ****'s sake, my PS1 didn't lag when enemy monsters attacked, or when I casted Holy on Algus (now known as Argath = wtf?) to quickly end the Fort Zeakden battle...

Yeah, it's poor coding. I've heard "Unofficial" emulation of the PS1 original works practically flawlessly. But at least you're getting some nice extras over the PS1 version.

I still haven't gotten a PSP yet, but I'm actually kind of excited about the new translation (although I hear they "added" a ton of th's at the end of old names.

Yeah I think everyone's does it. I don't mind really, I thought it was fine, I mean I still love the game and all, so no worries for your copy.
