Your best and Worst Party

Hey all, I'm sure all that have played FFXI for quite awhile has got at least one Fantastic party and one OMG this party sucks! party. I've been on FFXI for almost 2 years now, so I've been in some pretty horrible parties, but I've also had very great parties. My Best Party: This was just recently, I was leveling my Samurai which is @ lvl 41 atm. I made a party consisting of: Samurai ( Me ), Red Mage, Bard, Dancer, and a Ninja. We partyed at Crawler's Nest and camped at the Secret Room, and the Bard was our puller. We were pulling Soldier Crawlers for the first half of the party. I told the bard to pull a link of x2 Crawlers, so when the bard got them to the camp, I told the Red Mage to Sleep the extra one while we pwned the real target.




We got up to a Exp Chain of 10, and the exp was rocking, I got pretty much over 350-375 exp each fight without the Empress band! And the chain continued, til the Red mage needed mp ( good thing he just had learned Refresh ). Everyone in the party lvled like 2 times, so I went from lvl 39-41 in just a hour and a half! Fantastic, just Fantastic. My worst party was back in May at Wajoam Woodlands, I was leveling my Dragoon at was around lvl 58, ( which its 63 now atm ). The party consisted on 1 RDM, DRG ( me ), SAM, WHM, PLD, and BLU. Now the worst part of this was when we were fighting Puks. The BLU accidently pulled a link, the SAM ( which was the leader ) told the RDM to Elemental Seal >> SleepII the extra one but he said " I don't have any Sleep spells..." The whole party was in complete shock, but that was nothing compared to this!






Near the middle of the link battle with the 2 puks, the WHM was running out of MP and never had a chance to heal MP, and the PLD was also running out of MP. The PLD told the RDM to cast Refresh on him and the WHM, but the RDM said..." Sorry I don't have Refresh". So here was the result, the pld lost some hate and it quickly killed the WHM before she used Benediction, I tried to 2 hr but the Wind Shear x2 from both of them got me low on HP quickly. I told the RDM to please heal, but he said "I don't want to main heal".




So the Sam 2 hr'ed killed one, but the other one came and killed him, then me, then easily dispatched the others. Result: Party died. It was the rdm's fault the pty died and then the pty disbanded, afterwards I quickly blisted the rdm. Now that was one of my most horrible ptyies. Anyone care to share your best and worst ptyies?

I've had some pretty sick parties, my best one getting about 23K exp per hour, it was a pimp merit party.
We decided to stop at chain 300 because we were sleepy, haha. it was too sick for words.
Crazy thing is that the setup wasn't even that popular as well as the location.
We were with nin, war, thf, rdm, brd, whm (me).
And we were killing the mamool at nyzul staging point >> bhafleau.
The thf made the big chance I guess, he had mandau, full hetacomb+1, full homam etc. very pimp jp guy, rest of the party was all jp as well.
Everybody was cooperating really well, crazy party.

I've had too many crap ones. Too many that I stopped counting, but meh. I prefer to think of my good parties.
