Attitude Problem

I do not want to sound rude but my sister Sarah has a Attitude problem, like today she asked me if i want to be really really skinny and i said No i rather be thick. She asked Why and I told her Because i feel that if i get so skinny when i eat something like a hamburger i'm gonna to say Oh No I'm Fat!

"Remember what i told you?!, You know what don't talk to me!" And she didn't listen to me when i told her sorry.

And when i was spaced out listening to music and trying to post my fan fic on my site she was talking to me i didn't hear her. She gets all mad once i turn off the music and ask what she said, she was quiet then left the room saying "Your unfriendly."

She calls me all these rude names "Your rude,unfriendly, picky, an ass, and so on" she kept this on seen we were little.


How can i talk to her about this in a nice way so she wouldn't stop talking to me for good?

Sorry if this post sounds pointless but my sister has been having this bad attitude...even her boyfriend thinks she does along with my mother.

I forgive everything she has done but i want to know how to tell her that she has been hurting me so badly. How should i tell her without hating me forever *sits in the corner looking down sad*

The best thing to do, is not give her a reaction. Act like you don't give a shit, and she'll eventually get the point.

I live in too close of a proximity to my dad. Sometimes, I just want to rip off his face and make him eat it. Sometimes, I want to give my brother a good slap. But I just don't bother... Why? Because you've just got to let go off family squabbles. They're annoying, and sometimes hurtful, but that's life.

Don't give off a strong reaction, and they'll eventually grow bored and annoyed that you're high enough to just not care anymore.

Dearest Flower Girl, siblings, even when they are the best of friends, will often quarrel. This is normal when you have to people of similar age in constant proximity of eachother.

I have to advocate what Chez and Celtic said. It sounds as though she just wants your attention periodically. The best way to make peace is listen when she talks, support her if she's having problems and be sympathetic to her. If she continues this invective, just brush it off. First law of manipulation: Ignore undesirable responses and they will eventually disappear. It's inate in humans that when something is continually ineffective or unsatisfing they'll discontinue it.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how you feel. I have a little sister that acts the way your sister does, except mine's a little worse but anyways it sounds like she's maybe wanting your attention like Sinister had mentioned? Maybe something's going on at school or something in her life that's bothering her and she's taking it out possibly on everyone around her? I don't know but try talking to her. Don't force her to make her tell you but when she talks to you calmly ask her then talk to her about the situation.

*smiles* Thank you everyone, your ideas are helping me. When she gets mad at me for a responds that is showing i'm being truthful then i'll Ignore her when she is up stead at me cause hey i don't want to lie.

Then when she see that i'm not crawling down on my hands and knees and crying saying "I'm sorry Sarah." she will see that i had it, really i had it she keeps doing this to me to long.
