Star Wars: The Pursuance

I figured it was time for another one of "these".


Set in the era between movie three and movie four. There are still Jedi and even some Sith in hiding from Vader’s grip. He is storming from planet-to-planet, annihilating any and all force-sensitive beings. Your job? Survive. You must seek out the other remaining Jedi while evading and escaping Vader’s constant onslaught. Plot Specifics will be revealed upon acquiring a starting cast.

This fiction will contain famous characters from all ends of the Star Wars canon. Obi-wan is still alive, as is Yoda, as is Ki-Adi Mundi’s old Master, the Dark Woman. Han Solo and Chewbacca. Princess Leia. Ect...



GROUND RULES:

All the godmodding stuff is a given…if I have to mention that to you then you shouldn’t be in the RP forum.

This will be a Co-operative RP! You must communicate with other members each time BEFORE you interact with their characters. That keeps it more lucid and less likely to step on someone’s toes.

There is only one Vader and while he may have sent troopers after you he cannot be in two places at once. Thus encounters must be brief to allow him a shot at all of you.

Obviously you can’t possibly kill Vader. Some injuries are possible, but only minor.

Doing anything that ridiculously contrasts what we know must’ve happened inbetween these two movies is out. No killing the emperor or having Obi-wan’s baby or any bull@#* like that.

Do NOT reference things that haven’t happened yet! i.e the Death Star being destroyed or …(in fact don‘t mention the death star at all) any other thing that would throw this RP out of the timeline.

We’re talking about a handful of surviving force sensitives…it stands to reason some of them have met before. Say whether or not you want to be acquainted(positively or otherwise) with any particular fellow Rper.

Rudamentary knowledge of the movies and some canon is a must. Do NOT apply for this RP and ask what a Thermal Detonator is…

Adhering to Star Wars standars… Do NOT name your character Jacob Kelly or Dirk Phoenix or some horrible cliché. Keep the speech that is common in the movies! DO NOT use slang or foreign languages except languages indigenous to the movies.

A bare minimum of 200 posts.

*Whatever race you choose must be able to speak galactic basic for it’s main language. That rules out a number of alien races. You may attempt to make up a alien race to be approved by me. The only exception to the language rule is a Wookie. But in choosing a wookie you must realize that you will not be able to communicate effectively without having another person explain your words or have them explaned in your narrative.


2*The classes breakdown like this:

A Marauder/Guardian is a Sith or Jedi Lightsaber combat specialist. Think Darth Maul or Mace Windu. They’re more likely to take advantage of wielding a double lightsaber or more than one. They usually use an exotic form of lightsaber combat such as Juyo, Vaapad, Ataru or Makashi. Soresu would not be a normal Sith technique. Marauders have a unique ability to ignore pain.

Sith Lord or Jedi Masters are force power houses that can easily allay someone with only the force as their weapon. What would be a powerful force specialty in a Marauder/Guardian class would barely amount to the general knowledge of a Dark Lord or Master. Dark Lords tend to despoil those that are around them easily. Constant contact with one can cause moral decay. While Masters seem to have a rallying and morale boosting effect.

Sith Assasins/Jedi Watchmen are trained in stealth abilities and pure agility. They are quick and have a better grasp of the force than Marauders/Guardians and a better grasp of Lightsaber abilities than Lords or Masters. They have the singular ability to move without making sound.
