No Arms or No Legs?

thought I might as well ask another question like this. If you had to lose either both of your arms or both of you legs, which would you keep and why?

I personally would rather lose my legs because the only things they are really important for is engaging in sport and moving around convieniantly. Where as my arms do just about everthing. Type, play video games, pull the finger and other important things. besides I'm a bit of a couch potato and not having legs will give me a better excuse to sit on my butt all day.

I'd rather have my legs taken off. Like you said, I could still get around with no legs. I could move, I could drive, I could even get artificial legs -- not so much with arms. They're more complicated, and more utilized.

i rather have my legs off... because arms were very useful to work not only for jobs but also helping others....

we all know that arms were very useful in many ways... it is more important, eventhough you cannot walk anymore, you can still work just as simple as you can... you can be even productive eventhough somethings missing to the one of the parts of your body... i do believe that most of us can say this also (i think) because everybody wants to do something, even though something is missing...

I need my arms to game, hug, write, do all kinds of things.
Legs is just for walking and I know from experience I can walk with my arms, so arms all the way!

Try it. Sit cross legged and walk with your arms. Is easy!

Well, i'd rather keep my arms since I need those to draw, cook, play videogames, cuddle, drink, eat, and to pursue my wanted career as an animator. I like to go for walks, which would be the biggest bummer about no legs, that and the lack of mobility!

No legs.

I've actually been paralyzed from the waist down before, so I already know exactly what that's like. Lemme tell ya -- you really don't need your legs for much. Wheelchairs are perfectly capable substitutes. Sure, stairs are your worst enemy, but that's what elevators are for.

Don't get me wrong, I love being able to walk and all, but it's not something I need.

I couldn't imagine living without my arms though. Yikes.

I'd have to live without the joy of roundhousing people in the face though, but I guess driving over them with my wheelchair is fun too. I'd want one with those spinning spikes on the sides of the wheels though that slice and dice through flesh and bones, that would be ace.

No arms.

If I ever encounter hostile people, how fast can I escape in a wheelchair? When you see people without legs, you look away in shame. How strange would it be to see someone with no arms? I haven't seen one quite yet.

Besides, without arms, I would never be put into awkward positions because of them. Arms cause a lot of trouble.

Anyway. The natural choice will always be arms. Without those, well hell, I couldn't even post and tell you which one I'd rather was left. They are the pinnacle of utilitarian wonders. Apposable thumbs?! Who would ever want to willingly lose that? Besides! ...I like to play the piano...

I'd def go without legs. Just think about it, you can get artificial legs and all that. Plus, without arms, you'd have no hands (obviously), and you'd miss out on so many things, like hugging loved ones, picking up your firstborn kid and all that other sappy stuff. Plus, you wouldn't be able to jerk it, so like would suck that much more. PLUS, for guys, if you didn't have legs, just think of how much bigger your junk would look.

Like the majority, I would rather go without legs. Of course, it would be much harder to walk around but I could use my arms. I was watching Jerry Springer the other day. (I was bored. ><) and I saw this guy with no legs. He used his arms to walk around. It was just weird but at the same time I felt bad for him. I must be hard living like that.

Having no arms would be much worse though. Its more of a loss losing your arms then legs. Cleaning, playing video games, eating, showering. A lot of things require our hands to use and life would be hell if we didn't have them.
