My main goal is to live a happy life and to be rather successful with whatever I do. I don't want to become really poor and have to struggle to buy food all the time so being successful may mean I won't need to worry about those sorts of things. I don't want to become famous or anything though, that does not interest me in the least anymore. Living a quiet life can be a good thing. Another goal of mine is not to become a failure in anything I do, I want to always do a good job at almost everything I do, especially jobs and such.

That's all I can really think of!

Right now my short term goal is to develop my artistic drawing and sketchbooking skills so I can get accepted into my schools Animation program

On the long term job front, my dream/goal is to work for Blizzard as a Character Animator or work in Design... or go to Wizards of the coast for similar positions

To convert an Amish to civilized society and Atheism.
How is it legal to be Amish? They have inadequate education(stops at 4th grade), backwards beliefs(technology is bad), and are Fundamentalist(the stubborn kind of Christian).

Culture is fine to have, but not when it's so backwards and illogical.

I'm not anti-religion, I'm not a bigot, I'm anti-ignorance/stupidity.

They're able to do it because it's a free country. Would you rather they not had the freedom to do it in a so-called free land?

For being anti-ignorance you sure are misinformed. "Amish teach technology is bad." wth, dude? They do not. They are purists who choose to live without. They don't claim it's bad. It's merely a philosophy. They don't look down upon technology, they simply elect not to use it. And I don't blame them. I've often wanted sometimes to absolutely forsake modern culture as they do. It's analeptic.

And what education is it that they are lacking to function the way that they do? They do something you would never be capable of in your wildest dreams. They know exactly how to do what they need to to live peacefully. They're no different than Native Americans who still follow the traditions of their ancestors or different from the tribesmen in South America and the other wilds. Man living in a truly natural environment.

Try not to condemn different avenues of thought just because they run perpendicular to your own, it's too small-minded to be worthy of any fellow man.

@ Sinister. Ignorance is bliss. But that's a pretty shoddy outlook in my opinion.

Anyway, I plan to scale the corporate world, and amass a massive fortune. With that, I'll do one of two things. Either become a politician, or be heavily involved in philanthropy in due time.

A bunch of my more ambitious friends who are Commerce or Law degree holders who're probably going to be pretty successful are already planning on putting together an investment fund, whose returns will help educate the poor and uneducated.

Fame? I don't want it. I like my privacy. A person to share it with? I'm seeing someone right now, and for once, I'm quite hopeful about this one, but we'll see how it goes I just really want to help end the evils in the world. The lack of education is a horrible thing.

One thing I'd like to do for now is to do my best in studying (especially home economics), so that I can make a good husband in the future. It's good to plan for what I'm gonna do ten years from now, but I'm still young and I think I should enjoy my teenage years while they're still here.

I'm still not sure if I should live for the moment or live for the future (but 60% of me says future), but I guess I'll get it eventually.

Meh I have alot of goals really in 1 way or another but here's the main ones. If i can play music and do what makes me happy and also live near the people I love...which is tough since they're scattered, but if i can do those 2 things i'll be a very happy person. of course fincial success along with maybe a little publicity wouldn't hurt but most of all to be around the ones I love and not be broke on the street then I'd be happy.

My goal in life is to live it to its fullest and act like it was my last day on this Earth. I plan to explore, travel, and just see what's out there in this world. As of now, I'm just trying to do good in school and leave this town and go off to college soon. I'm planning to become a Journalist or become a Psychologist but I still have time to decided. Also, like Setzer had mentioned living a happy life and not having any stress would be an awesome goal to achieve but I doubt it...at least in my life. >.< Having any kind of success would be another one as well. And having a big family and having their grandkids and their kids on my deathbed would be one too. Just to see them one last time and to look back on everything of how I was when I was young and how my life was. Eh, but I got a long, long way to go before that happens.
