Weird phobias.

Chez: I guess I can still get off with being scared because i'm 16. .
Well my Hermit Crab isn't that scary. He's pretty cool. He has a red and black shell and his name is Axel.

When I was really young, up to the age of about 6 I think, I used to get really scared by that bit of classical music "Fur Elise." I haven't the foggiest why I was scared of it, it may of been something to do with it being a demo on my keyboard (a really early half-size one), but i'm not certain of it. I remember I used to freeze and curl up when I heard it! I think that beats most people in a strange fear.

As for current phobias, I don't have any (as I always say with phobia threads, there is a distinct line between a fear and a phobia- a phobia makes something an incredably mentally traumatic experience for the sufferer). However, I find it hard to sleep in a room with the window open, which I think is due to outdoor noise as I need quiet to be able to sleep. I don't like crowds unless i'm at a concert or something with a great atmosphere. I also have an uncomfortableness about being crammed up with little elbow room, for example I find it difficult to sleep in a single bed with someone.

Loads of people seem to have hatreds of animals I own... spiders, octopi, crabs (and I assume somebody will say snakes and scorpions soon so those too)! Thankully I don't have a fear of animals, although I'm scared of dogs when they are acting aggressively (then again nearly everybody is). I got scared posting leaflets today when I heard a dog bark and saw the leaflet disappear in a snaling tug through the letterbox... thank goodness that was not my fingers!

Yeah. Only thing that make me freak the **** out. I will strip down and burn my clothes...




Oh and men. I have issues. History of abuse stuff and all. And I made a lot of wrong choices. There's only two I trust really...in other situations, I go into hyper panic attack.


And I hate driving under bridges. Expecially aquaducts. I am convinced they will collapse the moment I am under them.

Yet tunnels, no prob...

Most of mine are pretty common..Arachnophobia, Acrophobia (fear of heights)...

Then there are a few non-phobias that i just tend to avoid....for example, escalators and stepping on a gravesite ('twas very tramatic for me when I was forced to kneel on a grave as part of a video project...)

My biggest phobia is my fear of not accomplishing my goals. I don’t want to be an average Joe. Funny huh, well that’s just me.
