The PSP, Before Crisis was the Celphone one. Although, I thought I heard somewhere that they were going to port Before Crisis to PSP, but I dunno.
The game just came out in Japan, and with how much localization is needed, I'd imagine we'll see the game early next year. Moving to FFVII Spinoff forum

I think it would be better to wait, though I can understand the sentiment.
I just wish that damned potion I bought off of e-bay would hurry up and get here. (not to drink, that stuffs nasty, but I want the book)

Finished it in japanese and it's damn excellent. I don't even understand japanese, but it was so cinematic that it felt like I knew what was happening most of the time.
Also one of my favourite soundtracks ever. |

this game will be out before the year is up. i just can't remember the date (i work in a game store). final fantasy is the reason to get a psp this year. with the remakes or one and two, tactics, and now the story of zack, i have more than enough excuses to finally pick one up. and with god of war: chains of olympus and kingdom hearts making their way to this platform, the goodness keeps coming.

Crisis Core is going to be amazing. It's about time we got Zack's and young Cloud's stories. Tactics was why I initially decided to buy a PSP. That and Me and my Katamari ^_^
