Remember how cool it was at the time (mid 90's) when it first came out. Man, I still love that game to this DAY! I can play it over and over. It had the coolest characters and one of the most awesome time travel tales of all time! The characters rocked and the game just got better and better the more you played it! I guess I was at the perfect age to grasp it and it's epic story still sticks with me to this day.

I bought the PS version "Final Fantasy Chronicles" (FFIV and Chrono Trigger), but the load times killed it. The cinema scenes were a great addition, but they were few and far between... If it weren't for the load times, I'd probably be playing it right now.

Hell, I might go as far as saying it's my favori....nah, I can't do that. I guess what I'm saying is...

WHERE MY CHRONO TRIGGER LOVERS AT!!!

Of course I remember Chrono Trigger. That is one of the best games ever made. I loved the story and and the characters were great. I really have never gotten all the different endings, but I got a few. I would probably be playing it too right now if it wasn't for the load times. I loved that you could go to a bunch of different times. It was great!

I'd say if ANYONE didn't remember Chrono Trigger on this site (especially the irony that this is a final fantasy site), then that'd be pretty sad.

With that said, YES I do remember it. No, I didn't get to play the original version until Square released FF Chronicles, but I have played both versions now and I enjoy them all. It's really one of those games that has carved it's name in the history books as one of the best RPGs. Given it was actually easy (for me), I must point out that I've had more fun with CT then most of the shitty RPGs that come out today. Music is great, storyline is great, and gameplay is great. I hope Square picks up the project of remaking it in 3D because I saw some screens they had of unfinished remakes and it looked pretty awesome (pretty much like any game with art from Akira Toriyama.) WHY they canceled the project, I don't know, but it pissed me off. If they can remake FF3, 4, hell even the GBA/DS ports, then they should make homage to the other great games NOT of final fantasy because some times, FF is just overrated.

I couldn't agree with you more! That'd be the BEST SELLING GBA/DS game EVER! Every and I mean EVERY RPG'er would definitely buy it.

Actually I was playing it around 4am. ^_^
But then it's a very good game, and well worth several plays.
And it's just one reason that Frogs are cool....
It was an Epic, and those combo attacks were awesome...

I wouldn't say that, but I think EVENTUALLY they may pick it up again once they're finished with the bagillion spinoffs of FF13 and probably a remake of FF7, other games like CT might be possibilities. So, expect something in 5-10 years, lol. I'm with Winter on that one thing though. If FF13 doesn't meet better expectations then I'm not sure I'll be a Squarenix fan for much longer.

1995 was a good year for the RPG world. Chrono Trigger is deffinatly my favorite RPG outside the FF series. I've honestly played it through 50+ times, gotten all 13 endings, and enjoyed every second of it. This was, by far, an amazing and epic tale that should deffiantly get it's own port to either the ds or the psp, just as long as I get it for a handheld.

Man, That was possibly one of the best Rpg's made, and not only was , but also still IS, best part is i saw a trailer of how they "might" be remaking it due to its insaaaanne popularity... how sick is that! if and when they do im sure we Chrono fans will be awaiting !

i will be first in line if they remake it. i have loved that game since the first time i played it with my buddy chris at his grandmas house, eating macandcheeze with lil smokies! good times, good times. i believe that game helped to revolutionize the RPG industry and still has the bar set high for any other CT counter parts. i was actually very dissappointed with Cronocross. it was a great game but lacked in the CT aspects..... man i need to play CT again!!!! GWAAA HHAAA HAAA
