I don't know who my favorite character is just yet. I'm not done with any Final Fantasy's other than FFX. I've played a few though (very few).

If it's just from what I know, I suppose I'll pick the most common answer, Cloud Strife. He was a cool and mysterious man in FFVII for the parts that I played. He's strong and a mercenary. What's better than that?

Next would be Ingus from FFIII just because of his dedication to his work. He's got really awesome hair that just naturally flows forward, surrounding his face without wind! I love it! I know he's not a main character, but I liked him more than the real main man...whose name I forgot.

That is a hard choice. Because I havn't finished all the Final Fantasies. Lack of time sucks =[. But if I had to choose I would have to say either Terra or Yuna

well, my favorite main characters were Squall from ff8, Regina from Dino Crisis one and two, and of course the funny Crash from Crash Bandicoot series!!

Crono from Chrono Trigger. How crazy/cool is it that he never talks! Everyone else is like blah blah blah, and Crono is all "whatever." Well, he doesn't say it out loud, but you can read it in his facial expressions. Plus he gets to go though time and go on all these cool adventures?!

My favorite main character would be Yuna from FFX+X-2 and Vaan from Xii. Yuna because I think she's pretty and for Vaan, cool plus I kinda feel sry for him- his life. I have others but I decided heck, I just wanted to put 2.

Link and Crono for the same reasons: The silent, bad ass hero that doesn't need grand speeches. He walks onto the scene, gets the gist, and lays the evil doers out flat. Done deal.

I would have to choose Auron because he is a strong fighter and no one has chosen him even though he is cool. Auron rocks....only after Seifer.

Kain of Blood Omen. He is such a baaaad smart-ass as well as a world wrecker. Makes Raziel look whiney, though he still gets high marks.

...and I also say that Celes is mildly under rated. I mean-she is the only one to survive a suicide attempt so far in the FF worlds. (...and the only one to probably try...) You gotta be bad!

I'd probably choose Silent Hill 3's Heather.

She kind of reminds me of myself, I suppose. Slightly lost, but has somewhat of an attitude problem when provoked. I enjoyed her personality and maturity.

I also liked her grip on sanity and annoyance at characters who were either not making sense at the time, or just plain whacko. I liked the fact that she responded with realism rather than the cliche dialog in most other games these days.

I really don't have a favorite main character. In all the Final Fantasies there's not a single main character that I respect except maybe for Ramza, who was an actual active inspired hero.

Margaret in Shadow Hearts was my favorite all-time character, but she was not the main character. Plus she was modeled after my favorite all-time spy!

Yuri was yet another womanizing anti-hero...bORING!

Bloodrayne was alright, a little too impulsive, though.

Vaan was a disturbing whiny brat eye-candy thingy.

Tidus was pretty cool and possibly second to Ramza but a little too weak for a main character.

Zidane was a womanizing thief. Such an annoying anime stereotype and one we've already had in a FF game.

Squall was like Cloud.

Cloud was a prick.

Cecil started out as a villain!

I think that Lightening might be a really cool character and unless they make her into an apathetic prick like Cloud or Squall, she might be a decent character.

That's all I can think of. Not very many redeeming characters in these games, really. Tidus and Ramza...

KAIN FROM FFIV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kain is by far the best character EVER! followed by Cecil, Rosa, and Rydia. Yes all my faves are from FFIV
