Do you ever read your old posts?

To start off, seeing as this is my 500th post (go me XD), and now posts after this will erase my older ones in storage (the server only holds like 500 per person or something) I looked back on how I used to type/post.


....I was an NOOB! Oh my god, I was shocked I use to type that badly.

So, eh, anyone else do this? ^_^?

Anyway... I do sometimes.

Sometimes I think "hah, that was pretty funny" and other times I think "oh GOD. What was I on?!"

Some of my posts showed way too much about how depressed I am and just made me look a little stupid. I have the ocassional emo-rant nowadays, but to a far lesser extent.

And now I don't post horrible pictures anymore.

I miss some old threads, but I know how I was, so it doesn't matter to me really.
I posted too much at this place in the past anyways..so meh. can't be bothered to look back now anyways.

Once in a while I will go back and read some of my old posts. As I read them I realize how much of a n00b I was and then I become thankful to TFF for helping me get rid of my n00bish ways.

I enjoy reading my old posts... a few months back I went to look at the posts I made in the BoD thread when I first joined and f*ck I am quite a sadistic c*nt

Actually I think I was more interesting to read when I first came here, it was all new and shit to me back then so I played around more.

Yeah, I imagine it is more interesting to read the first weeks, then the last few weeks.

But eh, I reckon since you cant cause your just a little over 500 posts.

The posts are still there but they're not on your search list because the search can only return like 500 results, if you cut it down to say just the "General Chat" section it can give better results for that section. I don't do a search for them, I just see them when I read the old threads.

Just to answer the question now, nope. I'm still a noob, so it doesn't matter what I did. I haven't read any of my old posts other than when I need a reference for some of my new rp ones. I don't like to look back at my writing (EVER) because of how terribly my thoughts are shown. I could never unjumble them, so posts or anything else old of mine gets ignored and hopefully forgotten.

Anywho, to do it, click on your username, click view public profile, then click the button that says "find all posts by <username>"

Yeah I sometimes look at some of my old posts. I usually don't like to though because I see how bad I used to type and I can't really figured out what I was thinking back then. Also it seems like some of my older posts were pretty much spam. It makes me sad when I have to read some of my older posts. I think it is kind of funny when I look at my old posts and half the people who replied to my posts are already deleted.

Yeah you can just go to search and search for your own username. You can also narrow it to a certain forum from there if you would like.

EDIT: or you can do what Zero just said. lol I like my way better though.

EDIT(part two): Congrats on your 500th post Zero! I also like to read other people's older posts. They seem so different from what they post now. Sometimes I find older members posts and they seem like such noobs. I makes me feel like less of a noob myself. (=

Anyawy, I ALWAYS read my old posts and threads, Its really a good thing to do,You know, Look at your past, prepare for your future ! But for a odd reason, I just keep editing them over and over !
