Looking to aquire a PS2 and X-box while they're cheap too.

My most played console is probably the SP, I've clocked up over 250 hours on just FF:TA alone.
Last games I bought were Pokemon Diamond for the DS and I rebought the old Spyro games for the PS for a cople of quid. Well worth it, my old disks disintergrated or something and I love cranking out the old consoles for soem fun gaming.

Right now I have only got a Playstation and a DS Lite. I was among the first 4000 to lay my hands on a PS2 here in Denmark, but that one gave up on me about 2 years ago. To be honest, I rarely miss it. There were few games on it that I would still want to play today, and my old Playstation and my Computer covers my gaming needs nicely.

Since my Playstation 2 gave up, I have been using it for imports which I didn't get to play in the Playstation's prime because I was too young, didn't have a credit card, etc.

Since I started playing on my playstation again, I have gotten:

I have a few...

Sega Megadrive was a big part of my childhood... seriously, every switch on was sex with that thing. "SAY-GAAAAH", oh wow. My favourite games were probably Micky Mouse and Sonic The Hedgehog.

Game Boy, although not really a console... I was given this by my half sisters' ex boyfriend... I still know him to this day.

Atari, was my parents... my parents bought it for a Christmas or something and they played on it for ages... They passed it down to us afterwards. Us being their kids. >_>;.

I had another older console although no longer remember the name of it.

Playstation - Aha! I loved this! First game I ever played was a Mickey Mouse game. The first series I really got into, though, was the Tomb Raider series, next on was Silent Hill.

Playstation 2 - has done me a shitload of favours. Oh ho, yeah... many hours down the drain with this one.

My sisters' boyfriend has a Wii... it's hard to control.

I have a Playstation 2 which I got back in 2002 as the first ever big thing I saved for and it was well worth it.

I have a DS which I got specifically to play FFIIIds on it but I've never gotten around to playing it... instead I pretty much used it for a GBA Alternative.

We also have a SEGA which we grew up with... I remember the "SEE-GAH" thing oh too well from playing Sonic all the time.

I have like 50 games all up but I want to go and collect all the classic old Ps1 games at some point as most of my games got stolen. I don't even know what the hell happened to my old PSone.

I own..

A Sega Mega Drive: I played with this during my childhood and I loved it a lot. I have a few games for it which I still play nowadays, it's great.

An Atari 2600: I kept getting one of these when I was very young but it would keep breaking and it sucked! The console itself was loads of fun, the one I have now still works but not properly.

A Gameboy and Gameboy Color: I loved playing the Pokemon games and still do, they are awesome. I had quite a few games for them but I rarely play them both anymore.

A Playstation 1: It don't work anymore, piece of trash! I still have it somewhere but I don't know why.. it doesn't work at all.

A Playstation 2 x 2: I have two because the original one I had broke on me, it was one of those bigger ones that first came out and I hated it. I got a slimline one now and prefer it over the big one. I don't care if it overheats easily, it works just fine for me! I love it, it would have to be one of my favorite systems.. even if it is old!

A Nintendo DS: I love this little console, it has a ton of great games and it's just so much fun to play. I own a very small amount of games for it but it's still cool. It's a pink DS Lite and it's very good indeed.

I am hopefully getting a Nintendo Wii for Christmas so hopefully I can add that to my list!

Aside from PCs I first got my Dandy (8 bit) when I was about 10, Sega (16 bit) when I was 14. Sega is still one of my favorites, I played so much great games on it! ECCO The Dolphin I LOVE YOU! Got my PS when I was about 16, played my first FF on it! But I don’t know why, it isn’t the Mega Drive, something is missing, maybe it’s the childhood
Got my PS2 2 years ago, at the age 19. Still haven’t played it much. Graduating from a University takes a lot of time Got a GB Advance 3 years ago. That’s about it!

Playstation 2 - I play this the most, though "most" is relative. Lately I've only been putting in a few hours a week. In all honesty I'm surprised it's still going strong, as it's one of the older PS2s, purchased less than a year after the initial release. It runs loud but otherwise normal.

Nintendo DS Lite - The first console I purchased with my own money. I only have three games for it so it doesn't see much use.

Game Boy - Ah, the original yellow brick. I keep it for sentimental value. I no longer have any original Game Boy games as my brother pawned them all years ago. ~_~

Game Boy Advance - Just decoration these days.

Nintendo Gamecube - Useless; it's broken. I plan on upgrading to a Wii eventually.

Playstation - Sold it to a friend after I got my PS2 - kept all the games.

Playstation 2: Had it since the year after launch. Owned six games for the system prior to beginning work at GameStop last November. Now own over fifty. It's not that I didn't like the PS2, but I've always been a Nintendo loyalist.

Playstation: It should be noted that I DO NOT OWN A PSX. I list this merely because I collect the games, and felt it should be on the list for at least that reason.

Nintendo Gamecube: I loved this system. My library is 40-something games strong (basically, every game that was worth owning on the system). Yes, maybe it was a bit "kiddy" in nature, but it had a lot of really strong titles that were overlooked by the masses.

Nintendo 64: Best multiplayer system I've owned prior to the Wii. The first to introduce four-player action without additional peripherals... and it had GoldenEye. Seriously. Best console shooter of all time right there. And no, this isn't a debate, so don't get your panties in a twist if you don't agree with me.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Full name for the win. Some of the best games of all time are on this system. Again, just an opinion, but I know a fair number of people would agree with me.

Playstation Portable: I put off the PSP for a really long time because the library was shit, but now that it's a dump bin for RPG titles, I'm so glad I bought one last February when I finally caved in.

Nintendo DS: Picked up my first one in December 2005. Electric blue, bitches. The Animal Crossing: Wild World bundle. =) Upgraded to the Onyx DS Lite in... March? 2007.

Game Boy Advance: Even with the fancy backlight, I saw no reason to upgrade to a GBA SP. Anywho, the GBA was a solid system that introduced the group that were kids when we were in high school to the world of videogames. Parents favored it over consoles as it was a cheaper option, AND it was mobile. The GBA library, if you ever take the time to really look at it, is massive.

Game Boy Color: I loved me some Game Boys. I can't remember what game drove me to purchase one of these. Quite possibly Mario Golf and Mario Tennis -- I loved the connectivity with the Nintendo 64 versions of those games.

So there you have it. Never owned a Sega system in my life. It's not that I didn't want to, but when we were kids, we (in my neighborhood) had a system. I owned everything Nintendo, Chris owned everything Sega, and Zach had all the Sony stuff. I remember my first experience with Final Fantasy X was at Zach's house, YEARS ago. I mean, I was what... a freshman in high school at the time? Wow. In any case, we would all go to each others' houses and play each others' games... and our parents loved us for it. It meant less money for them to spend.

Well I do not own very many, but I've never gotten rid of them. So I still have all of mine that have been mine and not the family's console.

Super Nintendo - I got that for my birthday long after the SNES had been out for a while. I think it was about two years before the N64 was released, maybe even less then that. So needless to say I did not get very many games for it and most of them had to be bought by my parents. So that was even less of a selection.

N64 - I bought myself not too long after it came out. I actually own even fewer games for that because then I had to buy the games and not my parents. So I only have the best games pretty much and that is about it.

PSone - I bought this very recently because I had a PS2 and did not need it. But since I wanted the PSone to play PSone games that I had that were potentially hurting the PS2 lens, I just spent the $50 for it and got on brand new. I rarely use it, but now I don't have to change out my 4 memory cards in my PS2.

PS2 - I bought this one almost 5 years ago now, I think. It is my current console as I still play new games on it. It is also has the most games I own for the system which is over 40 games. Which seeing as the past two systems only had 10 or less, it is a lot of me. I am still buying PS2 games as well, old ones that have been out for a while.

Gamecube - This is my most recent purchase with I got used from someone at work. But it is Nintendo so I know it works. I have five games for it already, but I am only playing through Twilight Princess right now. I am going to be hunting down a few games for it since I need a Tales game and one other to round out the games that I wanted for it.

Gameboy - Like Loco I still have my gray brick of a Gameboy from days gone by. And like the Gameboy Nintendo if I put batteries into it the thing would probably still work as well. But I don't so it just collects dust right now. I played the games on it to death.

Nintendo DS - It recently picked it up at the beginning of the year and I only have two games for it. Because DS games I want are too expensive for consider. If I am going to spend $40 on a DS game I'll just go drop $50 and get a PS2. So until the DS wants to be cheaper I'll keep snubbing for games right now.
