Is this some kind of bug or something in FF for PSP?

When I switched over to the Japanese language on my PSP, it seemed my Diara was weaker, example: every undead I faced when switching to the Japanese Language setting took between 50-65 HP damage, when I switched back to the English Language, the damage for the same undeads went up to between 74- 115 HP. Is this some kind of bug or is it a way of balancing things out, which I was told before?

The Japanese are infamous for making games easier for American consumers (Hell, the first cheat code (A,B,B,A) was made when Americans complained about the difficulty on one of the 80's arcade games.)

I can believe it. After all the Ruby and Emerald weapons were added to American versions of Final Fantasy 7 as sort of a challenge to Americans. Tis a challenge that I am in the process of completing.

personaly i think they should give us the exact same game as japan gets. i want all that extra crap they get in there games! i love a challenege!

Yes its sad but most of the remakes are much easier than the original... being a regular to RPGs when I got to the end of FFII I levelled up during the end enough so that everybody had at least 6000hp thinking it would be somewhat challenging but not impossible. However to my surprise I ended up killing the Emperor in 1 hit and was strongly disappointed. To me the first 2 games are too tedious in some parts and too easy in others. I wish they stopped over simplifying games like this so much.
