627 | Doubtful, given the 'Triple-A blockbuster' nature of the Final Fantasy series. Rather than rush a project, they would rather spend the time to create a quality product. A polished game later is better than a rushed game sooner. History shows that this is the approach that Square-Enix takes. After all, Final Fantasy 12 was delayed for over a year.

2,814   | Actually I heard that FFXIII was 80% done and Versus was barely in production. That was about a couple months ago. But I wouldn't expect it to be out soon like Rasler mentioned. Square wants their games to be good and I'm sure they wouldn't want to do a half-ass job on a game just to send it out early so people can play it. Plus, I don't think it would sell well with the PS3 price still. Maybe it'll be cheaper when the time comes, but we'll see. | ||||||||

109 | This game will sell CONSOLES. It's going to be that big. People will buy a PS3 just to play this game. Well, at least the "hardcore" FF'ers will get it.

89 | As far as i know neither game is anywhere near finished Square enix say XIII is 80% complete but that will be planning, generating eviroments ect, i doupt they've anywhere near a functioning product
