Anyways, to talk about my RPB with Howl. Question for said opponent: Is your character throwing daggers at my character's back? or what? I'm kinda confused with your writing style. I'm not saying your bad or anything, it's just that I believe you could put a little more detail into your posts and check it before you post it.

I hate what this club has become, Christ because of a few people being complete asses and arguing over stupid shit, the clubs leader decidedes to quit his position. that's rediculous, and I'm sorry but I might consider quitting soon. too be honest Alex was like the only person in this club that I thought could bring anything under control.

with the new leaders I KNOW things will never be under control, a club should be a nice qommunity where everyone gets along and can share idea's in a proffessional manner...this is definatly not the case, and with that I'll definatly be considering taking my leave... ... ...not that anyone cares really I'm basically just some n00b, but I thought I'd just say so anyway.

Well, no offense to anyone at all, but it's not like I or any of the other co-leaders are assholes. Alex didn't quit because of the arguments. He quit because he wasn't a capable leader, and you know he wasn't.

Yes, we had some arguments. But so what? The world isn't a Utopia. Arguments and heated discussions will inevitably happen anywhere. If you can't handle a few heated discussions, then perhaps this club really isn't for you.

But I do agree that there were some pointless arguing started by a certain someone *cough*.

But that is all in the past now. So don't go thinking that this club is all about arguments and such, now. It's really not.

And honestly, yes, a club should be a nice community where ideas are shared in a professional manner.

...But everyone getting along, too? That's just naive, but something that should also be striven for.

Red, if you really want to leave, that's up to you, I'm not going to stop you, but you really are going to miss out on improving your skill, along with everyone.

I'm honestly sorry to see you go. We really do need to reorganize this club. A whole new thread and everything.

I have to agree with Aerif, mostly. This club isn't just about battling. It's about general Role Playing as well.

I can agree that Alex wasnt a capable leader, although life happens, and sometimes you've got to put life in front of the internet. I've had that happen to me, but hopeufully the leaders HE put in charge should be able to get everything situated and organized again. I think the idea of a new club thread seems like the best thing to do, all of the co-leaders can collaberate and find a good way to rank everyone. I really haven't been all that active in this club because really, I don't know what the heck is going on anymore. I'd be very happy to be active again once everything settles down and things go back to a sense of normality. I'll check the posts now and then, but I don't want to be posting and saying something that's completely off-topic because I don't know what's going on anymore.

Evidently, I am quite capable. If I am OFFERED a job as judge then I am quite obviously fitting to all of the conditions layed out in red. I was simply proving that I am just as good as any other judge, whether or not I had actually accepted the job.

Slim, seriously, just shut up. Alex appointed the CURRENT judges as co-leaders (the way I see it) and you werent a CURRENT judge at the time, you were too busy arguing about if you should have your little "battle finisher" job instead.

Basically, it seems to me you DID decline the job of judge in an attempt to have the job of finishing up battles. Now that it seems you didn't get your way on that you seem to be trying to go back to trying to be a judge as a backup plan. The way I see it, if you are going to keep starting these pointless arguments (which Toph was obviously NOT flamebaiting, what Toph said was NOT a direct insult, although it was directed twords you, like it or not it's not insulting.) I'll just speak for myself on this one, but it seems what you're doing right now, starting yet ANOTHER argument, I don't think you deserve to have a higher position in the club than being a normal member, you're constantly trying to get your way and if anyone opposes you an argument starts. People have the right to disagree, and if you take that as insulting you REALLY need some lessons on anger management. One of the things in this club is criticism from other members. I know I wasnt exactly keen on it either, but right now I've been trying not to take it so harshly. If you can't take criticism or disagreement without starting arguing, you really shouldn't be in this club. Although apparently now that I've said this you're going to start arguing with me, of course. But to tell you the truth, with how you've been acting lately, I don't even care what you say anymore. These pointless arguments started by you are just getting REALLY annoying.

Now onto other matters.


Who has any ideas for a new name for the club? We're trying to think of a good new name for it, with a more of an Academy feel, than with a battle ranking system and such.

I'm not so good at names for clubs, but I can come up with a few.

My first thoughts are, although it's a completely different feel, you could try a "Garden" feel like in FF8 except twords RPB'ing, but I highly doubt that's what you have in mind. As for names, I think I can come up with a few.

Fighter's University
Blade Academy (this may not be any good whatsoever, since it's kinda more twords one group of fighters in RPB's)
Battleground Academy
Fighter's Dojo

eh, there's a few. I'm not so good at trying to come up with names for clubs, but that's some that I've come up with in the past few minutes. Just trying to help out ^^

Ranking ideas:
Masters of the art of battle (of course it could be a higher rank)
Deciples (sp?)
Pupils (probably would be the same place as Deciples, depends on what the co-leaders agree on ^^)

I think that's all the ideas I can come up with now, I'm looking forward to helping as much as I can giving the leaders ideas for reforming Demonia into a better, more organized club. It seems like sharing leadership between the judges is a good idea to try to get rid of the inactivity problem that came up with Alex's leadership. Life happens, if you all share the load then even if you have to be inactive for a while everyone in Demonia can still move on, and the club can thrive.

I think a fresh start is best as well. Alex had a good concept, but unfortunately he just wasn't able to keep up with the rapid pace we were progressing at.

Perhaps the club could have a name not directly associated with fighting? All of the battles take place at varied locations, but I assume they're holographs or have been constructed exclusively for the club -- I never go the impression that we were all globe-trotting, haha. Anyway, the point was that the club is supposed to focus more on developing writing and gaining ranks as a result rather than just being a good -fighter- or how many battles you can win.

After all, you can win a battle even if your character isn't necessarily the best fighter. The ranks might be better represented if they suggest a prestigious position in writing skills rather in the actual fighting itself.

Also, has a decision been made as to exactly what kind of ranking system we are to have? The only problem I forsee in the future is what if a member of the club develops into a better writer than one of the current leaders? Would they be challenging for the leadership position itself, or just for a decorative rank that says they're the best or whatever...?

Not trying to start a rebellion, haha, just trying to think things out

Sorry. I just never felt safe in this club with Sim around, after he called me a stupid idiot...or whatever words he used. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate him. He was just a little...well, PM could explain it better than me. I won't try. xD

Moving on..

I do believe it was decided that the universal rankings would be scrapped and that a ranking system relying on individual activities would be put in place. Of course, the leaders may change this now, but that's the last thing I understood. xD

I am SO relieved to hear that the club thread is being re-opened! I hope we can do that as soon as possible, since this thread has a terrible "aura" surrounding it. >_>

I'm really happy to see the current judges take over. I know we can trust them to keep things together. Plus, sine there's a few of them, if one falls inactive then the club won't die from lack of leadership! It's very exciting, lol.

I was under the impression from previous discussions with Hyz that there would be no rankings at all.

Rankings just confuse people, and quite frankly, with a writing improvement club, I don't think Rankings are even really needed, do you?

Except for Xeim's idea of the event rankings and such. I think those were going to be used.
