Talk about who winning the console war and anything else about the next gen.


To me personally it like this:
1. Ninetendo
2.Micosoft
3.Sony

Nintendo is kicking ass with the wii and the ds. Microsoft is doing all right and sony is slipping. They need to does something fast of it over for them

Overall I'd say at the moment it's:

1. Microsoft
2. Nintendo
3. Sony

Though, it's definately not like that in Japan where it's:

1. Nintendo
2. Sony
3. Microsoft

I think that once the PS3 gets to a decent price, they'll be doing a lot better everywhere and could probably rival Microsoft.

Well when Sony recently changed the price tag of the PS3, sales rose by 2800% on amazon.com, so surely they cannot be doing THAT badly at the moment.

Nintendo might be doing well at the moment, but I don't see them outdoing Sony and Microsoft in the long run. The graphics are really more last gen than current gen, and the wii-mote, in spite of being good fun, isn't precise or versatile enough to be "the future of gaming" that some Nintendo fans claim it to be.

My money is on Sony at the moment. In a year or 2, I am quite sure that they will be leading the market.

For me it's:

1-Sony
2-Microsoft

Sony might be having some technical difficulties now, but the keep working on it. Sooner or later, they are going to get the PS3 right, and they'll raise the price again. Even after that, I think there will be those people who can't resist buying it.

Microsoft is doing some serious tricking out. They're rivaling Sony at the moment to me. I've tried out both systems, and they have interesting features that are quite handy and fun.

Nintendo seems to be getting with the program, but they are progressing so slowly. The graphics of the Wii are like some early PS2 games, and that is a definate turn off for me. The games are creative, but the remotes aren't precise enough. I don't like how everything is jerky.

Well, right now the wii is doing great, but I think that Sony will come up with something in the end.

Well graphics are important but gameplay is what matters to me so im glad the wii has that.And in the end of a game what counts more what you just did or what you just saw.

Nintendo seems to be leading in innovation, and may i add in sales seeing as how they brilliantly had their Wii consoles and DS prices under say 300$ and 200$ respectively. Being in the Canadian market of course, where the US market may be slightly, say 30-45$ cheaper. International prices are beyond me but, nonetheless...the evidence is clear that people do not wish to pay too much to have their hands on gaming gear when an equally awesome exists at 375$ cheaper.

Now i do agree that PS3 has a lot too offer, but so does the Wii. The potential of the system seems to be what people seem to be mislead by. The Wii can potentially be so much more worth buying rather than getting a ridiculously overpriced PS3 or a malfunction friendly Xbox 360.

Nintendo > Sony > Microsoft

Well personally I think in the long run once PS3 starts to push out more games and the ps2 drops they will start to really take over. I don't think they have had a bad chance per say but right now there is no real incentive to get one. With the Wii I think whilst they may not be as powerful as the Ps3 they will have a loyal fanbase like some of the members here and they will continue to push out some great games... I would love to see a full on Pokemon RPG down the road. I am not really a huge Nintendo fanboy but I quite like my DS and at some point if they release several solid titles I may have to get 1. As for X-Crate... don't really know what their plans are but I think they're a waste of time, I'd rather just play their games on PC.

In my opinion, I would have to say the Nintendo Wii is winning to Console War at this point. Its the least expensive compared to the PS3 and the Xbox360. The graphics are not the greatest, but they're alright. And the games that they have on the platform are pretty fun The Wii controller is what makes the console fun though. Its not like the PS3 or the Xbox controller.

But if Sony were to reduce the price which I highly doubt, then people would probably want to buy the console and play the games on it. Seriously, you would want to pay about half a grand on a gaming console? That money should go to your rent or some bills! Or even a beer for that matter!

I think it's Nintendo then Sony then Microsoft.

Why that order? Well Nintendo is pulling awesome series' out of some sort of dimensional rift. Seriously, FF, Sonic, Mario, LoZ, Resident Evil etc... Basically everything other than the mainstream FFs and all the Microsoft games, many of which you can get on PC anyway.

Sony would be next, the PSP ain't dead yet, and the PS3 just needs more time for either the price to drop, people's savings to rise or a combination of the two.

Microsoft? haha All their good Xbox games come out on PC later anyway. It just means we have to hold a little patience.

Anyways Sony does have a lot of work to do if it want to get back on top. I have all 3 systems and out of all of them i like the PS3 more than anything else. Right now i just don't think they're winning.

Nintendo justs needs to keep doing what it's doing. They got great game coming out for it that controller is fun to play with. Im alright with the graphics.

Forget Microsoft.

For me at the moment it's definately.
1. Nintendo
2. Microsoft
3. Sony

Nintendo 1st because a) the DS is outselling the PSP everywhere, the figures are different who ever who ask or wherever your source is but Ninty is always on top. The games fit a massive range of audiences, classic remakes (tetris, FFIII), new full titles (Metroid Prime Hunters, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, excellent innontative new games (meteos, Lost in Blue, Hotel Dusk) and games to suit non gaming family (Brain Training).
The wii - although I don't think it's come into its own yet its control system is non threatening to new gamers, so will encourage new people into the gaming market. Alot of people say Nintendo is abandoning their hardcore fans but if you look how games like Super Paper Mario are, and how Super Smash Bros. and Metriod Prime Corruption are shaping up that's hard to believe.
And aslong as the graphics suit the game I don't care whether they are the best or not. Look at Twilight Princess, obviously not the best graphics around but absolutely perfect for the game.

2. Microsoft - The 360 is the console I would have bought if I hadn't bought the wii.
For the reason, a load of my mates have one + xbox live, and every time I'm at one of there houses I have the upmost fun on multiplayer on Halo or Gears of War.
I recomend the 360 if you are the kind of person who likes multiplayer more than single player.

3.Sony - out of all the people I know with PSPs hardly any of them play it, they just use it as an expensive mp3.
I've only been on a few games for the PS3, and Resistance: Fall of man is the one I've been on the most, and yeah it was decent, I had a laugh on it, but it wasn't the kind of game that justified the PS3 for me.

these three different gaming systems are alot different....
SONY-playstation,playstation2,playstation portable all of these are for gamists that like more racing games and for gun fighting games.... personally that is most deffinatally not me ...........
NINTENDO-gameboy(all types),Gamecube,DS, and the wii they are all for gamers that are more into the rpgs and into the adventures ....... that is more of the types of games that i like to play.......
MICROSOFT- PCs microsoft ios more for gamers that like more multiplayer games such as rune scape soooooo many players play that game and i personally can not do that because there are way to many players so not for me .....................

Sony has lost it's European market, period, we know we're paying twice the amount for a down-graded version and from a recent survey presented in my area, only 1 person in 10,000 owns a PS3... Which can't be good news for Son
