"Platinum editions"?

If anyone in the world knows waht a "platinum edition" of a game is please tell me. I am sooo confused since I want to buy a game, but it's listed as platinum, and I don't want to buy a computer version...

Well I believe its the same as "Greatest Hits" but for the PAL Countries, I used to own several Platinum games but I sell them once Im done cause they're ugly and I like my collection to look sexy.

Platinum is when a certain amount of the game has been sold. After that point, they begin producing Platinum ones.

They're not any different from the originals, except for the disk art and a sticke ron the box.

The originals are cooler in my opinion, but the gameplay doesn't differ.

Also, when a game turns Platinum, I've found it's harder to find original copies... probably because everyones' already bought them!

But yeah. I think that question has been answered, so I'll go ahead and close this now.
