E3 2007 News Thread

The biggest gaming event in the US, E3 has releases, now all by the end of the year. The almost week long event is scheduled from yesterday till the end of the week. E3 is now closed to the public, except for special individuals, gaming companies, and the press.

Yesterday was the Microsoft's Press Conference and previews of days to come. Today, is the start of the actual E3 events for all companies.


I have limited info on much of it right now, but I did see a demo of Rock Band, with all spots being played at once, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drummer, and Vocalist.

I also saw some thing about Slash being a boss in Guitar Hero III, and the Guns and Roses track, "Welcome to the Jungle", part of the track list.


And Rumors of something Special from Square-Enix by the end of the whole event. Maybe it's something big that the company will have by the end of the year. (hint, hint: FFVII for the PS3!?)

Well, it's over, nothing big or exciting.

No info on FF7, even though the storyline isn't really over.

Rock Band looks pretty interesting but man I am pump for Killzone 2

Out of that list, I'm looking forward to RE5, Assasin's Creed, Guitar Hero III, CoD 4, and that's pretty much it I have on my wishlist right now. The PS3's still expensive in my opinion but I'm hoping to get it by Christmas though. Who knows, maybe another price drop will be announced around that time.
