153 | I think the very first game that really had a major impact on me was Elite on the ZX Spectrum. At the time to see a game with 3D graphics that had such depth of gameplay and a save feature so that you could pick up where you left off was amazing. It was just so far ahead of its time that it has to be my first favorite game.

2,086 | I'm an old school Lucasarts fan, even back when the company was still called Lucasfilms Games. Naturally, my favorite was one of the more cult classic hits...The Secret of Monkey Island is the game that started the whole Monkey Island madness! If it weren't for this game, I'd be a different man (maybe not ).My first console game was Sonic the Hedgehog, and it made me an instant fan. I bought every Sonic title thereafter, stopping only after production for Sega 16-Bit games ceased. The newer renditions of my blue friend sucked ass in comparison to the good old titles.

| | My first favorite game was a tie between Sonic the hedgehog and some weird disney game, both for my old Sega megadrive. I must have owned all the sonic games for the megadrive. Me and my dad were just obsessed with them and would spend hours on end trying to complete the bloody game. Naturally though I lose with me being only about 4 or 5 at the time we had the megadrive. I don't think i ever completed any of them. The other game is one I can't remember the name for. All I remember of it was it was a disney game were you could play as either Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. Then you would go through levels with some sort of magic cloak that you would throw on your enemies to damage them. I had more luck with this game and managed to complete it in my younger years. Still after that I moved on to a PS1. But since this is only about first ever favorite games, I'll leave it here.

| | My favorite game ever was Castlevania; and the franchise is still one of my favorites. Among that there was Zelda and Final Fantasy (but I didn't enjoy the older older ones, before III (VI) then I do know, at least I don't like the first one...it was kind of lame). But Castlevania is a little more like me, vampires, blood, darkness yeah it's great stuff. Zelda was okay too, I loved that you could go anywhere you wanted, my favorite Zelda happens to be Ocarina of Time... and I so wish I could play it again, but alot of things are wrong with my N64, and I think I am missing the NC Adapter cable. :I So ****. But yeah, Castlevania series is one of my favorite first games.

I don't really know because I have been playing games since I was only little and that's a long time ago. I started off playing the Atari which had a lot of awesome games on it but I don't know if I would call any of them my favourite. Ah yes, I can name one that I used to adore as a kid. The Streets of Rage for the Sega Mega Drive. That was such a great game in my opinion and I still like it nowadays, it is loads of fun and it's better when you have a friend play alongside you. I never was able to complete the game because I found the final level to be really difficult. My Brother and I even gave it a go once and we still weren't able to win it! I also liked Golden Axe for the same system. It's just a really fun game with silly sound effects. | ||||||||

| Mistress of Succubi | I don't care what anyone says. The Pokemon games count, because they're games. If you don't want them to count, give a legitimate reason as to why. Don't just say "they don't count" and be done with it. That's what a child does, and I don't think you're a child. If they're your favorite, they're your favorite. I happen to like the Pokemon games. I'm currently playing through Pearl right now. Although my very first favorite would have to be... Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I had a cart that had both games on it, so yeah. Way back in the NES days. Duck Hunt was addictive as heck. The Pokemon games are addicting as well. I don't care what people say, they are not children's games. At least not lately. There's so many features and extras packed in there that a child won't know what the heck to do. But anyway.. | ||||||||

119 | I think my first favourite game was Legend of Zelda: Link to the past. I loved the whole story of it, and princesses I used to watch my bro play when I was younger, and it was a really fun game to watch.

69 | mine was betrayal in antara. i got it as a present when i was 6. the game was so old it had to be run on a windows 95 pentium 1 in 256 colours! graphics were ok, but the storyline was so in depth and you really had to understand and immerse yourself in the world so that you could solve the riddles and puzzles. i just love that game! i still play it even now on my sister's super old computer oh i almost forgot. soleil for the sega genesis was also awesome. you are unable to talk to people for most of the story and instead are running around with animal companions, slowly learning that the monsters you've been fighting aren't evil, just lost and away from their world. its loads of fun and you feel sorry for the monsters at the end.

| | The first game I'd consciously recognize as a favorite is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I played games before that but never really got into it. That all changed with this game. I absolutely fell in love with it and even today it reigns as one of my top favorites. I used to spend hours just roaming around Hyrule, not even doing anything in particular, just exploring for the fun of it. ~DragonHeart~ | ||||||||

| | The first real game that I liked was Tekken and that was about 10 years or so ago. To this day I still love playing the games.

| | My first favorite game must have been Pokemon Red. It was the first game i got on my first Gameboy Color, the one in which the first save file i made ( which was selfdeleted later on *snif* ) was more than 250 hours. If you count the others as well, it's far more than 500 hours of gameplay. Actually, if one would count the time i spent on all my pokemon games....that would ne one hell of a number. At least, back then i could catch' em all.. | ||||||||
