Weird Al for those who dont know is a guy who does parodies to tons of songs. for those who have what is your favorite song by him.

Who hasn't heard of him? I don't really know any one who hasn't heard of him before. He's pretty cool and his songs are quite humorous at times. I like the songs he parodied of Michael Jackson. Also, 'Like a Surgeon' was also pretty good as well. I remember that song he brought out recently, isn't it called 'White and Nerdy'? That's a catchy song which I kept getting stuck in my head.

He's a pretty cool performer though, even if he does just rip off other songs and make up different words for them. He's got talent.

This guy's hilarious. He's done a shitload of parodies with songs. I like "Constipated" and "White and Nerdy". Its been a while since I've heard his other songs, but a lot of them are hilarious though. I agree though. He does rip off the original artists that originally sing the song, but he's laughing all the way to the bank. He's pretty slick.......

Asking people if they know about Weird Al is like asking if people know about Elvis. They are both cultural phenomena.

I do enjoy Weird Al's parodies, but find I have to be in a the proper mood to listen to them. His music isn't something I can just pick up and listen to anytime.

As far as the parody genre goes, he pioneered it and is perhaps the best at it. I thoroughly enjoy his Amish Paradise (Gangster's Paradise), Yoda (Lola), and several others.

He even has several original songs. I find that these are less popular since they don't have the selling gimmick of being a parody of a popular song.

The single most irritating thing about Weird Al (And it's not even his fault) is all the songs that are inaccurately credited to him.

If you were to do a search for Weird Al on a P2P (I am not condoning this in any way), you would find a large number of files that inaccurately list Weird Al as the artist. For example: Atomfilms' Star Wars Gangsta Rap, Barnes & Barnes' Fish Heads, and a staggering number of crude and tasteless songs that were never performed by Weird Al and are not related to Weird Al in any manner.

"White and Nerdy" - It's about me and my friends.

I liked Eat It and Amish Paradise. There was also another song sung to the tune of "Bye, bye, miss american pie." Except it was about Anakin Skywalker turning into Darth Vader. Can't remember the name, though. Those were friggin hilarious.

I was in hysterics to "You're Pitiful", the paradoy of James Blunt. I deteste the original song, but hearing lyrics such as "you never had a date that didnt inflate and you smell repulsive too", and "forget romance, everybody still calls you farty pants." Immediate classic.

"Constipated" is a fave too, the Avril Lavigne parody. "Fat," is great and has a great video to go with it.

It has been a long time since I have heard anything from the guy besides some of my friends repeating White and Nerdy. My old fav has to be Albequerkie (sp?). Yeah, long and awsome, no idea how to spell it.

Who hasn't? Heh. I like him. He's a pretty funny bastard, and I like how he doesn't rely on profanity and other cheap tools for laughs. His "interview" with Eminem on his show was hilarious. Probably my favorite songs by him are "Smells Like Nirvana", "White & Nerdy", and most of the polkas.

Who hasn't heard of him? He's what got me into music really, I loved all his parodies as a kid, still do. I have a couple of his cd's to this day. He's still going too surprisingly but is rather amusing. I think Running with Scissors and Bad Hair Day are his 2 best albums.

The ebay one is probably my favourite. And I laugh ever time I hear ryhe song that white and nerdy is parodying because more people know about white and nerdy and just presume that's the tune they are hearing, not some rap rubbish.
He needs to keep up the good work.
