When you were little, the people used to say:
“Sunshine comes after the rain” But is that really true?

There are days when grey fills the sky
Days where you don’t have the time to wonder why
There are days when grey fills the sky
No time to feel sad, there’s no time to cry
There are days when grey fills the sky
But still people go on living their lie

“Sunshine comes after the rain”
There’s no time to question why the sun is gone
“There ain’t no time to feel the pain”
Just suck it up and keep movin’ on
“Stop lookin’ at the sky, are you insane!?”
Still I know there’s something wrong

Now that you mention it, I’ve found a way
That in the darkest times, I can still enjoy the day
I look up to the clouds and know that I can fly
I just forget my surroundings, jump up and touch the sky
And as I pass the clouds and as I feel me rise
I can see the sun nearly blinding my eyes

With that I realise, the sun never left, he’s always there
But if that’s the fact, can’t other things be more fair?
People with sayings, they live their lives without real flair
Now with the people ‘grown up’ they forgot how to dare

I know folks might get jealous when they see me up high
What, you don’t believe me? Wanna see me try?
I’ll show you now and then, what I say is no lie
To put things simple I soar, I float, you get it, I can fly…
