Whats Your Favorite? Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl?

Hey guys I just got 1 of the new 4th generation Pokemon games, Pokemon Diamond! And I must say its sweet, awesome new style graphics of which DS is good with. Pokemon sure has come a long way hasn't it? Anyway Diamond and Pearl as many of the pervious Pokemon games have different Pokemon appearances and different and somewhat the same as its counterpart. Pokemon Diamond in its self is awesome. Of course I just got it so I am sure I'll enjoy much more as I more on in the game And for those who have it or are going to get it what starter have you decided you pick? I picked Chimchar, because I have a thing for monkeys lol and Chimchar is cool especially his evolutions. His final form reminds me alot of Vigaroth from R/S/E lol but better. I am not going to spoil any more so whats your favorite version? And what starter are you thinking of choosing? :Spyfap:

I like blue. So I get Diamond. Three badges so far and at fourth gym. No worries though, My luxsomething (gave nickname so forgot actual name) will kick their butts with her electric attacks.

I don't know if it's coincidence or what, but everything I catch ends up being a female. Are they easier to catch or are their stats just different enough to get their HP low enough? Its weird.

Was your starter a girl. Mine was. It was a Piplup (named Becca). Is getting a female starter more common here or is that part of my female team curse?

Lol you are my exact opposite I get all the male types lol. My Chimchar was a male, only female I have now is my Starly lol but I bet you that will soon change. I think it depends weither of luck or the time of day you get different genders, but really the highest level in that area and you keep running into females that are the highest level of their type in the area and can't wait to find male ones

I snagged a copy of Pearl myself.

It's really hard to say which is my "favorite" of the two. I'd have to actually own both games and play them all the way through to know, so... I went ahead and voted Pearl for the sake of the poll just because that's the one I had on reserve.

I got Diamond solely for its main legendary: Dialga [Dragon/Steel]. Good type combo, but [Dragon/Dark] would've been nicer .

I got Pokemon Pearl since in Canada it was a sale for $5 off [] So yea. I'm practically at the part of the Pokemon League but since I can't seem to defeat the 4th Elite, I decided to train my pokemon more.
