FFXII is far from the best FF. The only good titles for the PS are Guitar Hero, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear Solid... Foak. Nintendo is trying really hard to get these foakin retards to play their oober awesome game console. I'm getting the PS3 for the sole purpose of playing FFXIII, that's all.

Good graphics does not make a game alone no. Just like good gameplay doesn't make a game alone or a good storyline or design makes a game alone.
Gaming is about graphics. Just like it is about gameplay.

As for the Wii being for everybody, I'm quite sure that the PS3 owners aren't crying themselves to sleep at night just because their grandmother and 4 year old nephew don't really see the great appeal hehe.

PS has lots of cool games I used to play when I was younger.
I grew up playing crash bandicoot, spyro, alundra, croco, and latter FF.
The ps3's shiny graphics and games like assassin's creed and eye of judgement make me want it, but I would like to play my old games on it.

True, the ps3 has good grafix and a tilt controler...however the wii has just about the same grafix, awsome games (metroid prime 3) and has hit the record of sellin more copies then any new game ever made in such a short time. NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE!

I hate to be nasty, but have you guys used the 'tilt' of the PS3 controller. It's the one thing I wouldn't be using to support the PS3. Unlike Nintendo, Sony don't quite have seemed to capture motion sensoring properly.....

Well give it time. It's going to take a while before either system get a game that's designed from the ground up for them. I read in a promotional mag that Sony put out with interveiws with some of the programmers of the (a few still upcoming) games that said that the sixaxis support was almost an afterthought on most of the games. The Metal of Honor game, a dragon game and Assassin's Creed claim that the tilt feature will be more present and implimented than most of the PS3 games.

Not a bad month for anyone really. The PS3 is doing quite well if you take the scary price tag into consideration. The PS2 is still the best selling stationary console, and with the Xbox 360 is also hanging on with decent sales.

One thing I find ironic though is that Nintendo owners worship the Wii mote and slack Sony and Microsoft for being overly conservative in their approach.
Yet the games those same Nintendo owners are looking forward to is 10+ year old franchises like Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. Double moral standards anyone?

It seems to me that Nintendo has become the little nerdy kid of the gaming industry whom everyone else has promised not to tease and give wedgies

Some of that i acually agree with. But what can you possibly have against Zelda? Some of the games are a little kiddish, but it was intended to have something for every one to play. Once super smash bros. hits along with metroid pime 3 it will be great. However, so i dont sound bias i really have to say they could add some games like oblivian, kingdom hearts, and i really want to see a final fantasy game for wii! Of course no one wanted to put any games on it because of the bad poblisity before it came out.

I have nothing against Zelda. I'm just saying that it is hardly new or innovative. Same goes for Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Wii-mote or not, it's still the same series that have been running on Nintendo's consoles since the dawn of time.

It was BECAUSE they were more willing to do something new. While Sega's consoles wimped out after Saturn's debut, Sega is most certainly alive and well.

...and Sega is trying something new, too. Don't forget that. While not as expensive as a NeoGeo, it has far better technology in it. I can't wait for Oblivion and Assassin's Creed.

well now nintendo is the one trying something new. there trying to rid the world of the evil 2nd control stick. Although i really wish theyed put Oblivion on wii.

I've heard too many negativities to spend $500-$600 on it...of course, that's if I had $500-$600 to spend .

I'm definitely going to wait for awhile for either systems. More so the PS3. That damn price is something I'll never like, even if they drop 100$ on it. The Wii, however, doesn't have too many great games so I'm gonna wait for the library of theirs to build up, especially for Super smash bros brawl. That is one game I am DEFINITELY looking forward to. So...

Wii - I'll wait a couple of months until there is a lower demand for them so I can actually FIND one.
PS3 - Probably idk, 2 years?, lol. When it's at a good price or I have enough money I'll get it.
