10,590    | It's pretty obviously a joke. Nobody's going to offer free broadband service to people because nobody can afford it. I don't care how much money Google makes as a company... EVERYONE would rush to free broadband internet. No company can afford to support millions upon millions of fresh customers sapping their resources for free.

2,174 | It was moreso the toilet installation thing I was referring to, that's just plain weird. And the bit about their sewer dwelling technical support nanobots which sound a crapload more advanced than anything I've seen or heard about. That was what I found odd about this little thing.

No matter how rich google is they can not afford to give out free broadband, I remember when NZ tried to give out free Dial Up when we first got broadband but it failed miserably. So yeah, I would say with certainty that this is an April fools joke.
