what is your favorite final fantasy song

i dunno wat the song is called but and i dunno how u find out the names of the songs in the games i guess by the sound track cds. bt my fav song is theme song for ff9. ff9 was my first final fantasy and everytime i hear it i think final fantasy.

Well my i can't name my all time favorite FF song as it would be too hard to pick one but still, there are some really good ones. Hymn of the fayth being one of my personal favorites. I don't know how but its just stuck if my head and i used to find myself humming it in school (fortuantly i never got caught). Another good one has to be One winged angel. However i prefered the FF VII AC version. It just sounds better to me. Oh and just to name two more good ones for the sake of it: 1000 words and To zanarkand. All these songs are just so good.

i like the song eyes on me (piano solo) in ff 8 cause when listening to the piano solo it makes me miss playing the game and being with my gf. i love the piano solo better than the song. i dont know why i get easily fed up hearing the lyrics. sometimes hearing the song also is ok.

i really like the one winged angel remix on FFVII:AC, simple and clean on KH, and the 1000 words from FFX-2 was pretty good

This is a difficult question to answer.

Because of the remakes/orchestrations to a lot of the OST music, it's tough to decide. However, Aerith's Theme has to take first place. Everytime I hear it I get a little misty. Love Will Grow I also like, but I can't find anywhere that has the CD for sale which has the lyrics. I downloaded it once, but that was on the old computer which fried. To Zanakand is nearly as moving as Aerith's Theme, and I can play this one on my sax!

Dancing Mad from Final Fantasy VI. That whole damn soundtrack is a masterpiece and is the best work done by Nobuo Uematsu IMO.

My favorite has always been and probably always will be "That Place I'll Return To Someday" from Final Fantasy IX but also not far behind it is "Blue Fields" from Final Fantasy VIII. Those songs define passion.
