What is your favorite Movie Trailer?

Tell everybody what your favorite movie trailer is and, if you feel so inclined, post a clip of it to prove your point.

In order to answer my own question:

My favorite movie trailer is the trailer for the movie Adaptation.

It expresses the movie so well and uses one of the best songs in the world to do it. It denotes the major theme of the whole movie....

(not to mention that it is one of my supremely favorite movies)

Do you know what trailer I like the best?

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

By far the greatest movie trailer ever made. I remember seeing that in the cinema and got chills up and down my spine. It's such a great trailer, I love the end how Aragorn does the speech. It's amazing! The music is beautiful and it makes me want to cry every time I watch it!

What a great movie that was. Seeing that trailer made me very excited about seeing it. I even cheered whenever I saw it lol.

I love the music, I wish it was in the OST but it's a little different.

Beautiful stuff!

Dragon Heart I like this one a lot because even though it maintains that epic feel, it still shows some of the not-so-serious spirit the movie has. "How do you like the ride so far?" XD Some of my favorite moments are in this trailer. It really makes me wish I'd been able to see it in the theater when it first came out. Alas, I was too young at the time.

That LotR trailer was pretty awesome by the way. Kinda makes me want to watch it all over again hehe.

Probably the one for The Grudge 2. The Americanised version, not the original Japanese one. Sadly enough, for me I actually found the trailer scarier than the movie.

And the trailer had more of Sarah Michelle Gellar than the movie, too. The trailer was about 90% her whereas the movie was maybe....0.5%?... I'll stop spoilering now.

But a good trailer, if slightly misleading. A good horror trailer, I thought.

The Castle of Cagliostro is probably mine. Watching it brings back memories of viewing it, especially the car chase.

That was a ride worth taking....

Hmm well I have a few I like. Training Day has a wonderful one, to get the point of the movie across and its theme. I find it to be dark but in a way where you want to see what happens next.

Then as a joke one, that makes me laugh when I see I'd go with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Talk about quite the movies from 94. Totally bad, yet entertaining and likable...when I was a kid and saw them on tv.
