Crepes or Pancakes?

That honestly depends on the egg to dough ratio. If the crepes are too eggy I don't like them. However I would generally go for crepes more because I like putting jam on them and I am a jam fan. That also goes back to what I said about liking foreign food.

Anyway my vote would go to pancakes. I've never had Crepes before actually. Pancakes are delicious and I could have them anytime. I love Pikelets as well which are almost the same except smaller and with sugar. You can add whipped cream, jam or anything sweet on them. I love them!

I remember one day at high school a couple years ago I had this really dumb bimbo girl in my class who was one of those girls who loved her self... anyway I think the teacher asked her to read the name of the recipe which was 'Crepes'.. She was stupid enough to call them 'Creepies'. What an idiot, even everybody else knew how to pronounce it.

I chose pancakes. Like Fluffy Chocobo up there, I've never actually eaten crepes. Although they do look nice.

I actually very rarely have pancakes at all, really. My usual breakfast is something like a K-time twist bar, or a leftover Tim-Tam if there're any left in the fridge. Getting ready for school and everything, I just don't have the time for pancakes.

But I really do like them. Every now and then when we go down to Sydney we get drive-through Maccas pancakes for brekky. That's always good. I never manage to chew my way through the whole three, but I have a good go. All syrupy... Yum.

I agree, ABP. Syrupy pankakes are da best.
I'm not much of a brekkie person, but I still say pancakes. Mainly because I have never had a crepe in my life. I usually have pancakes with my syrup, though, considering the fact that I use a whole bottle of maple/golden syrup on two pancakes.

For brekkey, it'd be pancakes. But a good Crepe Suzette. Omg droolz.

That said though, I'd honestly prefer a nice roti with some curry for brekkey over either crepes or panckaes. Too sweet, far too early in the morning.

I have got to go with crepes because everytime I eat crepes I fill them with delicious sugary treats. I like to be able to put whipped cream, chocolate sauce, strawberries, yogurt and powdered sugar on my breakfast and when I have crepes that is just what I do. Pancakes are good but syrup only gets me so far.

Cake of the pan, and then replacing the milk with beer. It gives a fluffier pancake with a hint of sweetness. Very delectable. I've had crepes before, but they didn't leave a lasting impression on me. I'd have to redo them and...get to know them. Take them out to dinner and such.

Fluffy does have a point. Its almost everyday theres a new food thread in general chat and i'm just so tempted to post in them. Also half the foods you talk about i haven't even heard of. Like in this one: What the hell is a Crepes? Still that doesn't matter. I would vote for pancakes regardless of what they are. Pancakes are a yearly thing for me and i always enjoy them to much by stuffing my face with them (this year i was almost sick over my friend). But to get the best pancakes of all it must have lemon and sugar, otherwise its just bland.
