The hardest is 12 and I'm still playing it now.The enemies are hard and some of the bosses are like well sometimes almost impossible.The easiest ones would be x-2 and viii.

The hardest to me was FFX...really, the only one i died on the last boss -.-...(jecht of course)

The easiest to me,was FF I of course.The chalenge is minimum,most of the enemies around don't havr more than 500 HP & the only hard thing to do is beat the 2 bosses in the Sunken Shrine.

The hardest was FF II or IX.In II,it was difficult to kill the simple enemies,let alone the Bosses.If the party leveled up normally,it would be much easier.In IX,if you had the virus stat & didn't have vaccines(hard to get),you were done for.No leveling up=you can't beat neither the last area's enemies & the boss was out of reach.

I'd have to agree with penance, FF XII is one seriously hard game. Its just like hard battle after hard battle. Even the easy monsters are hard. Great example being the rin wrym which is only a level III mark but completely owns me even after 20+ quickenings (all the ones i hit added up) and summons.

As for the easiest, i'm stuck between FF IX and FFX-2. X-2 was seriously easy if you trained a lot on it which i did. I just owned all the fiends. It only got hard in the via infinito after clositer 80. And IX, well i just saw that as an easy game. I was on disc 4 in a short space of time.

I would have to say the hardest for me would be Final Fantasy V I did'nt even finish the game it was so goddamn hard I just don't think I really liked the job system that much so I just ghosted through the game and got buggered on some of the latter bosses maybe one day I will return to it

I would have to say FF IX was the easiest because I am taking into account all the sub bosses aswell and FF IX's was well easy it was a joke all the other games had really hard sub bosses but not IX he was easy I can't remember his name but he was this little ball and I killed him at really low levels

Hardest:- Final Fantasy I. This game is a beast in terms of difficulty. Even the randomly encountered enemies can kill you if you make a mistake. What makes it even more difficult is that if you kill an enemy, but your other party members were attacking that enemy as well, their turns'll be wasted.

Easiest:- Eh, I'm not really sure. I remember finding Final Fantasy VII not giving that much of a challenge, so for now, I'll say that.

12 is in no way hard if you just take a little time to level up and update your characters weapons/armors and such. The first hard boss I ever had was like that earth dragon thing in Fran's forest.

The thing about final fantasy is ANY game can become difficult if you don't prepare. And I'm a huge prepare whore before each and every boss/dungeons/etc.. If I had to say though, the hardest game I've played was probably...um...uh...6? There were some strong bosses there that gave me a challenge. But, the easiest FF is without a doubt 8. You could really finish the game on very low levels and your stats was based on which GFs you had and which/how much magic for each stat. You were strong as hell by third disc. Thing is the monsters and everything leveled with you which I thought was an interesting but bad idea. Still like the game though.

The easiest for me was FF1 because you barely need to level up to do necessary damage, and it has a minimal number of bosses.

The hardest was probably FF6 because once you got to the World of Ruin the locations were mixed and matched and you couldn't just play right through. Also, the infamous 8 legendary dragons in the Dragon's Den optional dungeon were a force to be reckoned with, and Kaiser Dragon was no exception. Then when I beat him, an even harder boss named Omega Weapon took his place. But I beat him and the Soul Shrine with a little leveling up!

well i havent got that far in any ff game im too inpatient to sit down and play games for too long mayb a couple of hours morst thn i forget about ff altogether for a while and then later id pick up continue on a diff ff game. but heres my opinion.

EASIEST-ff5 i mean once u really try its actually easy. i dont remember having to level up that much to prepare for a battle and the job system makes it easier. not to say its a bad game the job system is actually cool.

HARDEST-ummm id have to say ff9. it was the first ff game i ever had and years ago when id play it id tryo so hard to beat the waltzs and i ended up having to restart my game cus through the whole game i dont think id boughten any new equipment (i was very unexperiance in ff games it was my first try at the series) and i was sad cus it took me forever to get tht far.but i think its the hardest cus of the walts and unlike other ff games every1 has a preset job so certain people can only learn certain things.

Those of you claiming that FF1 is the easiest probably haven't played the original version on NES - it was a complete pain in the ass sometimes. Damn near made me want to pull my hair out. They "updated" it to bring it to a more modern audience on PS1 and GBA. Just so ya know. Anyway...

Easiest: FF8. It took me, what, thee hits with Renzokuken + Lionheart to finish Ultemecia's final form off? Hmmm. In general, this game's the easiest FF i've played, and then some. I don't really mind, though, as the rest of the game's qualities make up for it.

Hardest: The original FF1 was pretty bad, but i'm gonna say the hardest was FF5. Holy shit. X-Death was damn near impossible to defeat without running around and mastering most of the classes, and after that's done, you can test your mettle against Omega and Shinryu (which make X-Death look like a pansy). So yeah.

The easiest FF I ever played would be FFIX. It was extremely easy to level up, get fast AP, and defeat bosses real quick. The only thind that was hard about the game was facing Beatrix for the first time and Ozma. Other then that the game's pretty easy.

The hardest FF game I would say.....would be FFII. Leveling up your magic takes a lot of patience and when I mean a lot, I seriously mean a lot. Some of the bosses that you encouner are even a pain when facing. Also, it can be hard sometimes to realize where you are at and where you are supposed to go next. Thank gosh, there are walkthroughs. But apart from walkthroughs, I would consider this a hard game.

Ugh, you can say that again. I remember running into Omega before I faced X-Death and I got destroyed. After beating X-Death and then trying to beat Omega, I got destroyed again. Fighting Shinryu would've been a bad idea.

Hardest: FFV
Reason: Use your jobs and abilities more strategically, or you'll be doomed. The abilities are more like "we're hidden, and you have to find us!", not forcibly "preset" into each character.

Easiest: FFIX
Reason: Trance sucks but it proves a point in boss fights.

The easiest Final Fantasy would have to be X. I got through the game pretty quickly compared to others. Jecht wasn't as difficult as I thought he would be and the final battle with Yu Yevon was just ridiculously easy considering you couldn't die.

The most difficult for me so far would have been VIII. Since I haven't completed any others I would say VIII because I did have a few difficulties with it. I found some of the bosses insanely hard.. I think that was because I didn't level up properly or use the junction system correctly.

id like to change my easiest to ff7 cus there was like only 1 part that was really hard for me so far and thats when u go in2 the shinra building when u have to rescue aeris (feel free to correct me but im still on disk 1 and im in the shinra mansion now trying to get vincent)
