Age?

Personally I really don't like the idea of a certain age being put to a certain personality. I just find it so stereotypical. Age is only a number, really. 93 can be young and a ten year old can be old. Personality wise, anyway.

Psychically, it just goes by numbers. There's no need to explain that.

Yeah, I don't really assign a particular title to certain age boundaries. I guess I go more by appearance. You appear to be a small child, you're a small child. If you're about my age, you're a guy/girl.

Teenagers does specifically mean 12-19, though, of course. Still, I don't know many teenagers and since I spend most of my time at university, in a city heavily populated by students, I never find much need to refer to teenagers.

16-17 = Jail Bait
18-19 = Barely Legal
20-35 = Prime
36-40 = Interesting
41+ = No, thanks

13-14 teen
15-19 adult
20+ Old and senile, likely to have Alzheimer's

Sadly I fit into the 20+ category.

12-14 young ones
15-18 young adult
19-? Prime (depends on person, some are ancient seeming at thirty, others still seem young past ninety).

But I think it also depends on the society, as some learn, er... 'life skills and the like' at older ages. In Australia, people obtain full rights at 18, but often do it all anyway from 15 or in some cases, even younger.
