Is Kingdom Hearts 2 and chain of memories the same?

I'm kinda confused..if it's the same,then I don't have to buy chain of memories but if it's different..

Erm. Chains of Memories isn't the same. It's totally different.

Chains of Memories is KH 1.5, pretty much. After 1, before 2. It's a card game, too. I don't know where you came with the idea that they were the same. >.>;

Of course not. Kingdom Hearts: CoM helps you understand a little bit more of what happend at the end of Kingdom Hearts and Help's you understand more about Kingdom Hearts 2. And for one thing, Kingdom Hearts: CoM use's a card based system new to KH.

So yeah, its alot different. You can also be Riku, and understand a little more about him. Its also show's the other members of Organization XIII.

somehow,i found a site(i don't remember it) said it's the same but thanx for telling me..is there kh com for ps2?I can't find it in store nearby..

KH: RE: CoM is a remake of KH: CoM on the GBA. I thought that was what mite have confused you. It will only be releasd in Japan. But I may find a way to get it. Its also part of KH2 Final Mix+ which is like KH FM for the first game one the PS2.

We're getting KHII:Final Mix Plus which includes a PS2 Remake of CoM. But currently, Chain of Memories is only for GBA.

I thought KH2: FM+ was only gonna be releasd for Japan Along with the remake of KH: RE: CoM ?

That's what I heard anyway. I thought this was gonna be moved to the KH Forum soon.

It was recently stated by the gaming magazines that we're getting it in the US as well in the Fall.

oh great..I can find it..but it's going to be like pixelled right?The fantastic KH chars will all be pixelled..I've to bear with that

GBA games work on GBAs, GBA:SP's, DS's, and DS Lites.

Oathkeeper: As far as I'm aware, EGM concluded it as fact, it just hasn't been officially confirmed by Square themselves. I'm sure we'll hear soon though.
