nepto dragon statue!!need help!

in FF3 when you get to the nepto dragon statue,the guide says "interact with the statue"what does that mean?i've gone up to the statue and pressed the A,B,Y,X buttons and nothing happens!and i know that after Arc suggests i use mini on the whole party i can't get into the mouth of the statue let alone interact with it so arc will suggest something i need help! it's driving me up a wall!!!!!!!!!!!

In any case. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR TEAM ALL MINI. Then, you enter the Dragon head, go down, enter the hole, fight the giant rat, get the eye, place it in the head, get the fang of water, done.

yes you turn your party mini go in the statue and onmce u get to the part theres a rat with the eye kill the rat and put the eye in the statue :3

You should change your whole party into mages before doing this...

I'm in the same part of the game myself, why do u have to change the party to mages?

Because,while under the effects of mini, strength, vitality, attack, and defense statuses are reduced to 1. Therefore, melee characters are pretty much useless. Therefore magic is a key element. so, the only way to do some damage is to be a mage. But, I wouldn't recommend being all black mages or all white mages. You won't get anywhere with a party of white mages (unless you're really good) and a party of black mages would probably get beaten. You need a balance. Prehaps a party of red mages, or a party with a black, a white and 2 reds. In any case, you'll need to equip appropriate magic for each. But you already know that right? It's useless to give a white mage a black magic spell.

Also! Its important that you don't just change their job and rush right in. If you'll notice, there's certain number of battles that you must complete for the character to adjust to a new job. This must be done EVERY TIME you switch jobs. And, of course, push everyone to the back row. ^.^

And quoted directly from the strategy guide just for the heck of it (yes I have too much free time): "Any time the party is forced to spend an extended amount of time under the influence of mini, its important to switch all jobs to those that have access to magic. Mini sets all the following attributes to 1, regardless of gear: Strength, vitality, attack and defense."

So that's what I need to do.I would just duplicate a bunch of antartic winds,use them on the rat,use thunder on it with a black mage,aeron(the white magic wind spell just in case I spelled it wrong)with my white mage and put my red mage into gaurd mode.
