FFIII Magic... help me

How the heck do you raise your magic to level 2? i just got this game and i've been trying to raise it but it wont even change. im at the part where i need to use mini and i cant cause im not at level 2 yet. help me someone.

ok u need to change ur job to white or red mage and then u need to heal urself so that u can use mini and that is all there is to it

Wait are you out of level two magic or just don't have any? (As in if you heal yourself you don’t have anything.) If you just ran out just go to the magic spring near the gnome place and go to the water spring the recovers all your HP and MP. If you don’t have any Level to magic at all, as in there’s nothing there even if you heal. Then I you either need to change your job because some of them cant use level 2 magic, or you might just need to level up some more so you can get the level 2 magic.
