Most of us do it, at the end of each year we look back and think, how did that year go for me?, could I have done anything better?. Then we also think about our goals and ambitions for the next year, it tends to be fun to think about. Anyway I'll make this simple. What are your New Year resolutions and how do you think this year went for you as a whole, did you learn anything that has changed your outlook, did you quit an addiction, did you finish school and etc. This year has been one of the most eventful of my life, in fact so have the 3 years before that, I have grown massively in the intellectual department, from a stupid ignorant kid to a serious thinking adult and a lot of that change occured this year. I also tried to lose weight this year, but was unsucessful. This is really dispointing because I would have been fit, slim and healthy again by now if I had stuck with it. I've learned a lot about what my religion means, if you could call it a religion. I've finally returned to an online life that I left years ago as I've always had very limited and inconvinient internet access until recently. Most of all I've finally come up with was I think could finally be my idea for a novel, I've been waiting for inspiration for years and I think I've finally come up with the idea I was waiting for. On the darker side I was pratically robbed of $8000 by my guardian of over 5 years. I was promised by her that she was saving money for me for 3 years, that she clearly stated would be mine, just to have her change her mind as I leave school and head into employment. My resolutions are as follows. - Make a new attempt to lose weight and regain my former fitness. - Break my addiction to caffine (made this last year and the year before )- Attain a position of good social staus on TFF and Youtube. - Learn as much as I can from entertaining sources. - Complete a course in website administration, so that I can have a job at home in front of my computer (this might make losing weight hard) - Finally write my Novel (after about 7 attempts that were never finished) and that's all I can think of for now, come one everyone don't be shy, reflect on the past year and make resolutions for the next.

Inventory | OH Shiet. well for one I am already doing the things I want to make my life easier. Has nothing really to do with New Years, but I guess I can pretend it does. I want to lose 25-30 pounds, Join a gym, Finish my math, Get my DL, save up for my car, and Get a savings account that I will actually not take from. Now I am begining to do some of these things, or at the very least I am putting them in motion. Wether it happens or not I don't know, but I do want to be in college next year (Which is a definite), and get a better job with the actual skills that I have. Cake decorators make a lot of money, and I want to be a pastery chef...then move on to secretarial work.

| Genocide Unfolds, I Forgive All | I'm actually making some New Years resolutions and I want some of them to come true! I hope they do... The things I ant are fairly big things, though... I've had a lot of shit this year. A lot. This year has been the most tiring, and probably one of the most depressing I have had the misfortunate to suffer. Some of it's been good, though, so I won't deny that. Anyway, I now suffer from delusional panic attacks. Haha, jeez. Anyway, current resolutions - - Rebuilding my immune system. The hospitals are all telling me it's really important that I do this. I've been tired and tensed up all year round and it's really breaking down my immune system more and more. I've suffered from so many medical things this year it's unbelievable. So yeah. - Get somekind of job. I want something from home. Sure, I'm not one of those people that's scared to go outside, but eh... I think I'd be better off at home where I can't panic in front of somebody. A job would be great for making a bit of extra cash on the side, and I think I know how to do that. - Play lots of Silent Hill. This is a given. I don't care how creepy it is to be obsessed with a media franchise. I need to watch and play lots of Silent Hill. - Continue being an asshole to people I don't like... But no beating the shit out of people this year. - Continue modding here and basically show up in every thread imaginable. Except in the role-playing area. I am a silly duck! ![]() That's really all I have for now. More may come later, though. | ||||||||

Inventory | I think this year went well for me. I mean i've had my ups and downs but you know I dobt i'll ever have a perfict year in my life. I wen't trough an emotionally slump sometime ago and I've also had a realy good days where nothing bad happened. Like the day when I got the Wii and Final FantasyIII were two great days that I had this year. Also the day I found this site was a good day to. Along with other things that happened. Thats why this year was generally good. I have a few resolutions for the next year. -Master all the jobs on Final Fantasy III -Try to be alot nicer to people even if I'm angry with them in any way -Be more active on this site and get my rep HP thingy up. (why? because I can) -Get Super Smash Brothers Brwal the first day it comes out

Inventory | Last year was fairly good to me, more or less. I graduated from LBCC with an Associate's Degree in June, then actually finished my time there with a 3.57 grade point average at the beginning of this month. I also worked, and for the last three months, I had a real job; not one that only gave me like 4 or 5 hours a week. I've also gotten halfway through my story I'm writing, and the people I show it to generally say it's a good read. Though they're my family and friends, so... may be biased. I also wasted a lot more time on here than in the past several years Started talking with cool new members, I was even a moderator for... 3 months, wasn't it? I gained a reputation of being a hard ass, too. Yay! Strange how when I first came back, I was just going to post in one of those "I remember when" threads, and then leave again. I also got to watch an Oregon State Baseball team come back from behind to win the College World Series, against all odds in June. Then, in these last few months, the football team took over, going from a 2-3 start to a 10-4 finish and a national ranking, capping it off with a thrilling last second 39-38 win last night in the Sun Bowl. What has sucked this year? Not too much. Just little things. Laziness and wasting time has probably held me back, as has starting up a new bad habit that I'd never had before, and wish I never started. I also bombed at most of the places I interviewed at, because I'm so shy around most people, and now that the job I had is ended (I was subbing for someone, and they'll be back next week now) I'm going to have to go out and get another job somehow. I also had promise of being in a band with my brother while playing the keyboards, but I haven't practiced that for a long time, and my schedule has confliced with the bands' practice (because of work, though; I might be able to practice with them now.) So, here are my New Year's Resolutions: -Get another job that will last me longer than a few months. -Kick my bad habits of being lazy, and the other thing. -Finish writing my story. -Start practicing keyboards again, and with the band too. | | I'm pretty happy with how 2006 treated me. Some of my resolutions included not giving a **** about stupid people... which I've done quite well. Some people are just not worth the effort. It's incredibly liberating since I used to be someone who cared alot about what other people thought. ![]() This year is kinda different. I'm not really doing any resolutions this year. If I'm going to change things in my life, I'll do them when I'm ready... don't really need a certain calander date to tell me I should change things ![]()

Inventory | This year has just really been one of those years where I've reflected on the rest of my life and planning a head. This year was pretty much a waste, though I did get into a lot of new bands and met some cool people over all I felt this year was for the most part wasted. Not much has changed except I've beaten Kingdom Hearts 1 which I've been meaning to since I first brought it when it came out. For my resolutions I plan to: ~ Finally beat DQVIII ~ Learn to play the guitar properly without doing covers ~ Get rid of my caffeine addiction or at least cut it down ~ Get a bit more toned, I don't care about mass I just want to be cut up ~ Get better with my Graphics and Writing ~ Get some sort of demo or something for my game started. ~ And lastly I guess I'll have to get a job.

Inventory | 2006 was, and I can say this without hesitation, one of the most eventful years of my life thus far. I've been attending an international school in Norway, where i've made quite a few new friends from around the world. I spent almost a month in Cambodia with one of those friends, which was quite an experience in itself. And I think that i've learned more about the world and grown up more from all my experiences in the past year that I had in the seventeen years preceding it. I still practically worship brainless action flicks and Mr. T, though. Alright, even though I haven't messed around with New Year's resolutions since I was a little kid, i'll go ahead and make a few now: - Go back to Cambodia: This one's the most important, and is pretty much set and done by this point. I'm planning on volunteering there for a year by teaching English at a high school in the province I stayed in last time. Here's hoping that all works out. - Watch the Super Bowl: For the first time in a good ten years, I missed the Super Bowl last year. It's not that I care that much about pro football, it's just that it's a tradition that I happen to enjoy. The problem is that it's shown in Norway at 4:00 AM Monday, before a school day, and no teacher will allow me to watch it then. We'll see about that this year. Heh heh heh. - Get a girlfriend: Sounds pitiful, I know. And it is. But hey, I haven't had a date with anyone since... ever, and now (age 19) would probably be a good time to start. *loves being a nerd* ![]() - Beat Super Mario Bros: This one's been nagging at me since I first got the game when I was three. I have never beaten the original Super Mario Bros, shameful as that may sound. I've been to the final level, but I just never quite made it... and when I sold my NES, I just gave up, and I haven't played the game since. We'll, now's a good time to correct that... whenever I get around to it.- Maybe write some kind of story: Seems as though there are lots of aspiring authors out there. I'm one of 'em too. I have ideas, but I just never get off my arse and write them. I'm just lazy when it comes to that. So I need to actually put something cohesive down on paper, and hopefully have a finished story when i'm through. And yeah, that's all I can think of.

Inventory | 2006 was a pretty damn good year for me in a lot of aspects. Of course, one can't expect to have a perfect year, as there were horrible things that happened. On the good side, my grades have consistently been on the rise this year, I got on the Dean's list at my college, and I got my Xbox 360. Overall, the good weighs out the bad. The bad things were that my grandmother, Patricia, died this year. I'm just happy I finally got on good terms with her before she passed... I remember back when I was 7, she was always ripping on me because of my weight, and even went as far as embarassing me in front of my family and appearently half of North Carolina in a restaurant. About 4 years ago, we patched things up, and I'm glad we did, because I'd never be able to live with myself had I let her die still angry at me. I also lost what I thought was the love of my life towards the end of the summer... still a little painful, but I'll manage. C'est la vie. As for resolutions... -Lose some goddamn weight -Get a 10,000 GamerScore on Xbox Live -Get a trustworthy girlfriend -Drink myself into a stupor on my birthday (21!!) -Smoke lots and lots of weed ![]()

| now THAT was poetic justice! | 2006 was interesting... I realised that I really need to revise my ass off to get any kind of good grade in my a-levels, discovered I deteste Microsoft Exel for making me do 10+ graphs by hand (each for 120 readings), I can now name different species of seaweed, and discovered cows are the new sheep in Wales. Its also been a great year for British music. I've bought many CDs, saw Arctic Monkeys in March, and went to see Kasabian and Fratellis in December. Kasabian were fookin' empire! As for lows, I had to have my cat Tiggy put down at the end of March. He had been with me since before I was born, so his parting was a great loss. As for resolutions, I don't do them. I have nothing to give up. However, I do hope to exeed last years grades and do well in my exams, also I hope to get into the Animation and Illustration foundation degree at Newcastle College. | ||||||||

Inventory | O Sheit I forgot to say how last year was. Let's see. The Year 2006 six I had a lot of good things an bad things. The Good: I have made lots of new friends (Especially me an my Co-workers. I don't think anyone has a boss that is as close to them as mine is. Not to mention the fun I have with the whole gang. We are like a very close knit family in an out of the work place), I got the perfect job in the world (That will also give me the experience I need to do what I want), I had the most beautiful baby boy(He is so much smarted than anyone would ever think. He gives me my smile after a hard day), and (Even though it fell through) I got engaged to a man I very much loved an still do today. The Bad: My relationship was ruined because we let too many things build up,but I am thankful everyday he is still in my life. I broke my car, and got a ticket.

Inventory | I look back on 2006 and think, MY, I have an ass for a face. No really. But, I guess it was a good year...hmm...I met new awesome friends, took a step in the right direction of life (I think), and so fifth...downsides were a major bout of depression, Nyuu was killed, I started smoking again... So if I do the corny resolution thing, here it goes. - Move back to the states. - Get bombed as a result of moving back to the states. - Not go back to Europe. - Gain at least 5 pounds. - Quit smoking (again...maybe...at some point) - Drink less - Stop using drugs - Continue using anti depressants - Obtain a kitten - Visit the ocean - Celebrate my 21st good and proper That's all the good stuff I can think of. It sounds pretty good to me. Yup. Now let's see those plans in action...
