moon crest question?

If i didnt get the moon crest in besaid on the beach in the early goings, Is it possible for me to get it later with airship travel back to besaid??? and even so if it is possible to airship back and still get it,by the time i have gotten to the airship travel, have i went so far in the game that i would have missed any benifits that the mooncrest has to offer, between early beasaid beach & actually getting to use the airship!!!


In other words was there any real importancy in getting it that early in the game? I dont have mooncrest in my inv, and im at thunder plains, so should i continue tthru till point of airship travel to try and get it? or did i miss any benifits i might have gotten with the mooncrest somewhere between besaid and thunder plains??? lol rotflmao kicking myself if i should restart to go back and get it!!! the question is kind of a multi lol and very long and drawn out, so im hoping the answer could be somewhat semi-short and sweet hehehehe!

Don't restart. Finding it the first chance you get just saves you from spending half an hour running back to get it later on in the game. You can still get it.
