Why me!! Worst FFVII moment.

This could only happen to me! I was happily playing through Final Fantasy VII collecting 99 of every possible item in the game (as you do) When i came across possibly the most unlucky glitch ever to happen to a human being; Just after flying around the world beating a colossal mechanical beast thing for the 159th time (needed 99 reflect rings from Ultima) I saved, sat back and admired all of those items i'd collected, the only thing left to do was beat Ruby Weapon for the desert rose, and my massive,time-consuming bastard of a voyage would be over. As I flew over to the desert next to the gold saucer I was greeted by a big, huge, gigantic NOTHING. Thats right, a glitch in my stupid game prevented me from collecting the final item of the entire damn game. The worst part was the fact that I did'nt have another save to load from. Knowing that I was screwed I proceeded to bash my head against the wall over 159 times.......I nearly died.

My question is this; what is the worst thing that has happened to you during a playthrough of FFVII?

Heh.. I think you didn't get Ruby because you didn't advance the story far enough. I forget when Ruby and Emerald appear, but it's somewhere on disc 3.

It probably wasn't a glitch.

I had 99 of every item possible! I had beaten Emerald and Ultima. I maxed out every materia and every character.......I think i was far enough into the storyline. The only explanation is a glitch.

Just cause you had all that, doesn't mean you maxed out the storyline.

But since you beat Emerald, that means Ruby should have been there as well.

Weird. But I'll probably do what you're going to do as well. XD

Y'know...you could have just used W-item to duplicate all of your items...but whatever you want works too....

That only works for items you use in battle, not the equipment of your characters. Plus I did'nt use W-item because I wanted a glitch/cheat free playthrough. AAAAAAAAAARGH just thinking about all that effort put in only to find I cant get the last item...........AAAAAAAAAARGH *Bangs head against wall another 159 times*...........*Nearly dies*

I would go to the very end of the northern cave then use the save crystal, exit the cave and look again.

My worst moment... well I've had countless save files deleted by my brother.

I don't really know about worst. But the stupidest thing I did was back when FFVII first came out (I was only young) and I would get so worked up fighting the guard scorpion that I would accidentally tell Barret to shoot Cloud... and then SCREAM at the TV for doing it all wrong.

my worst moment was wen i was geting W summon materia i got to like 58,000 BP and only had this last 10 gp for the 1 more fight and the most BP i had goten in 1 fight was 3,000 wouldnt give me the 10,000+ that i got wen i was after omnislash yeah well my GF called me as i had around 1400 BP and i was 100% sure i pressed pause and left the PS to get the phone came back and id died with no GP left i had to go play games to gain enough for my BP it put me bk like 5 hours of game play *didnt have any chocobos then so went about it the hard way lol * xD kinda gave her an ear full over the phone for making me die lol it was really funny but yet sooo anooying

My worst moment was at Don Corneo's house. I buried my head into the blanket I was on top of and began laughing uncontrollably. I nearly suffocated. XD True story...

Well it wasn't on the game per se, but I lost my memory card with my really far file (well, end of disc one... not far but the farthest I'd ever gotten) for about two years. I was crushed. Totally crushed me. I lost my will to play...

YYYYYYYYYYYES!!!!!!!!!!
Ruby has appeared for no apparent reason. I've finally collected the max amount of everything possible in FFVII.

I have no idea why he appeared though. All I did was fly around, enter gold saucer, had a go on the submarine game and then exited. The next thing I know Ruby's thick head pops up from the desert sands.......Weird!

Was'nt really directly the game itself but all my FF7 info was freakily wiped from my card one time. Prime suspect my brother.

I got on too the 2nd disc...and what happens but i start the game the glourious bloody pic of the Buster Sword and what is prompted on the screen.........."Memory Card not formatted.Want to format it now?"....
