when when i beat sephiroth at the end it restarts?

Every single time i beat sephiroth, his final form, the game just goes back to the entrance to the middle of the planet where everyone is waiting. i can even go and beat him again. why is it doing this??

I'd say that there's a problem in the coding of your disc, or its REALLY scratched, and its skipping and going back to the last accesable data. Try cleanign the disc. If that doesn;t work, sell it off and buy a new one.

Yeah that seems kinda crazy. It did that to me once on FF8 if I remember right. I just gave it a good cleaning an it was fine. But if its FF7 I would definatly buy a new one.

Ive never come across this with my copy of the game, it must be a really bad glitch in the Coding of the game or the disc itself is covered in scratches. If it never works, you should try and borrow a friends copy maybe?

i am playing the pc version and the cd is brand new. no scratches at all.

I'd say either your PC over-heated or something or.....The disk's coding is messed up.

*nod* probably the discs coding. I've gotten older computer games now that were rather shodily produced. When did you buy it?

Oh, it's a PC version, that probably explains why.....My friend(about 2 years ago) JUST bought a copy of FFVII for his brand new PC and decided to play it and my god, did it stop a lot, it continually kept crashing so it must be a dodgy copy of the game you've got or as its been said, it has crap coding.
