The Legend

Long ago in the inner reaches of Hyrule, an Evil sorcerer
known as Vaati began kidnapping beatiful young maidens,
one after another.

Nobody could stop Vaati, and the people of Hyrule despaired.
Then, Two brave Young wanderers carrying a single sword each
appered.

Link jumped out looking around for his friend Tare. I can't wait for him. So link jumped into the room with Vaati but as soon As he jumped in Vaati put a sleeping spell on him. Next thing I know Tara was standeing in front of me. What is going on Tara? Where have you been? RRRRR any ways he got away from me. So lets go get him....

"Let's go get who," came a voice with the sound of a dry wind blowing thorugh a forgotten grave yard. "Did you think I would run after I had put you to sleep?" questioned the voice.

At that Link and Tare turned to face the snake that they had come to kill. For a moment Vaati stood motionless as if the world bowed before him. When suddenly one claw like hand shot out from beneath his dark robes and speed towards link. Clasping his hand around Links neck Vaati lifted the elven boy off the ground with a vice like grip.

"You are still weak!" hissed Vaati "not yet a great enough foe for me to deal with. I shall let you live to show the passion that the Dark brothern possess! Perhaps in time you will understand the strength in joining with us." With that Vaati flung link across the room and turned to leave.

Shin gazed up at the sun glaring down at Hyrule. Maybe I came a little late? Their not here.... He jumped down off the rough wall he had been sitting on. Shin went off to the area his instincts were leading him.

He looked down at a small window and saw Link, Tare, and Vaati. Vaati was slowly walking out into the darkness. "HUAH!!" Shin crashed through the window and knocked Vaati down. After rolling several times on the dusty floor of the dimly lit room, Shin drew his sword and gained balance. Vaati glared at Shin with bright eyes and continued at Shin. He readied himself when Tare and Link brought him down.

Vaati hissed angrily and blasted the two into the roof. "Fools! You'll all fall into darkness, along with the rest of Hyrule! It will not be far from this day..." Vaati then stepped back to the corner where black mist surrounded his body and he vanished.

"Argh....." Shin sheathed his sword and helped his allies up. "We've got to warn the civilians. Hyrule is no longer safe."

Standing among the other two, Tare held his blade firm. "The threat is real. We must protect Hyrule, no matter how dangerous our foe, we must stand strong." He looked around, and was shocked to find that he would be needed for protection...again.

(I know it is super short, but I have a broken finger. It will be the very first/last short one I promise, sorry, but I am in pain!!!)

Then out of no where came 10 men. They where all dressed in gold and black. Now what link said to the others? I have no idea said Tara. I have no idea as well but its time they die. So the four of them put there backs to one another and prepared to fight to the death. Links draw his sword and the others did the same. Well men Link said lets to it and the fight began. Link was giving it all he had as where the others.

Then link looked around and saw only one man standing in black and gold. I well handle these link said. Link walked right up to the man. (No please don’t kill me the man said.) Why should I not kill you? Wait Okay if you tell
me one thing I well let you leave here. Where is Vaati. I don’t know the man said. Wrong answer link then cut off the man hand. Now one more time where is Vaati. Fine he is in the South part ofbut you well never
make it in the camp the man said. Would you like to bet on that? Then Link cut off the man’s head and started south and made camp

when they where all togther makeing a fire. Link said to them okay men I have a qustion. I need to know if you well all fight to the death. Soon it well come to that but I think if Hyrule has any chance it is us. So are you with me or not. They all said yes. Then they sat and talked for along time.

After quite a while talking beside the heat of the fire, Shin put out the fire and the four lay out sheets to get some rest. As the four rested under the moon-light, Shin woke up from a rustle around the bushes surrounding them. He examined around fo a while, then went back to sleep. Then he felt they were being watched. He slowly walked out and got his sword. "AaG!!!" Shin was punched upward and landed on the ground. He drew his sword and ran at the enemy. IT blocked Shin's attack, and knocked him forward. He blocked this and stabbed it between the eyes. Shin got ready to sheath his sword when more nemies appeared around him.

"Um.....Link, Tare.....Anybody!!!! Help me here!!!!" Shin called out to his comrads.

Tare was up and alert in seconds. "Shin?" He knew instantly as he saw the enemies. Drawing his blade he joined his freind. "We'll be hard pressed to fight so many. I think our foe might be serious." He said slashing through bodies, and chopping thier weapons in two. He fought with valor, honor, and rage, a lethal combination. His moves were swift, and his might terifying. A cluster of men ran in fear as Tare's dark wings appeared. He had reached his limit, the point of rage. He flung two men up to the sky, and flew up slicing through them instantly. He was struck by arrows as archers appeared. His chest soon looked like a pin coushin, but despite the pain He dove at them, slice! They fell dead, and his rage subsided, his energy nearly depleated. "Wake the others, We'll need them now!"

One of the men left had suddenly fallen. Then Tare could just see a stranger fighting the soldiers. At first he couldn't believe his eyes. But one after one a few other soldiers had fallen. When Lance was able to fight through the soldiers. He had said "I will fight with you until the others come back. We'll then finish this, and then I'll introduce myself" He had then thrown a deku nut to stun a few soldiers and slashed 2 of them with one swing. "By the way, My name is Lance, What is yours?"

"If you live long enough, I will tell you. Prepare for battle, you need to focus on your suroundings before you strike. So...keep on your guard, then maybe you'll learn my name."

Tare looked to several soldiers and pulled the arrows from his chest roaring in pain, but charged them as he felt the pain subside. "Shin, get them up!! I'll hold these men back, that'll give you some time!" Tare then ran and swung his mighty sabre, throwing the enemy into eachother, and killing a few others. His power was more than they could withstand, but thier numbers made them formidible.

Lance had been hit with a few arrows himself, he had gotten mad and slashed his sword along the bodies of four other soldiers. He had then blown a whisle, and a group of people had come out of the shadows and joined in. "These are my friends, it's not many people, but they'll help either way." He had seen Tare was injured more than himself, and threw Tare a red potion and then decapitated another soldier and thrust his sword into another. "This just doesn't seem to end, does it?"

Shin quickly dropped down to wake the others. "Quick, wake up!! We've been ambushed!" He shouts down to his comrades. He turns and grips his sword, glaring at the strange warrior and his friends. I guess we must work together for now, but I'm not sure if we should trust him just yet... Shin runs out and kicks down a shadow man in his face. He sliced down several others and backed up towards Tare, Lance, and his allies.

They all dashed at the surrounding enemies and attacked feircely. Shin sliced one's head of and threw it at another, while one grabbed him from behind. Shin jumped up, kicking him on the back, though not letting go. He took the shadow man and twirled him around, blasting off the incoming enemies.

After nearly an hour and a half of fighting, Shin was concerned. "This is taking quite too long! We've got to find the source of these enemies if we wish to destroy them, but where to look....." They needed to find the source of this shadow army, but where?

Lance saw that the soldiers had been crossing a bridge to attack them. He leaped away, He was trying to hold back the soldiers as long as possible while a couple of his friends were trying to crumble the bridge. He had been clipped by a couple of swords and had gotten mad. "Get out of there!" he yelled at his friends, and his sword glew silver. He had pushed the soldiers back far enough to cut the bridge with all his might. The bridge began to fall, and he tried, but he fell along with it and was swept away by the river. He tried to swim to the side, and when he finally got on land he was very far away from the others. He began to run in the directon of the others. He was running out of energy, and his run was begginig to slow, but he was determined to get back to the others before they began to believe he was dead.

"Huh?" Shin and the others looked back as Lance threw himself over the bridge and it exploded, blasting back the many enemies there were, and they saw him fall with them. "Lance!!!!" But they could not do anything if they even wanted to, and he was no longer seen in the water. "Argh......!!!!!!!" Shin sliced through any remaining shadow men and ran to the end of broken bridge as well as the others. "Is he......dead? We only just met him..." Shin said uncomfortably.

Everyone packed up their things quickly and as they turned the leave, Lance's friends were gone. A little disturbed, they continued onward, not knowing what to do. As they headed up the path, they noticed they were caught in a tall grasses, and were soon getting lost.

"What is it, Tare?" Shin asked, since he seemed uneasy. "Maybe we shouldn't have left Lance...." "It's alright, there's no turning back now. the north star is this direction, and-" As he spoke, he noticed a strange dark temple hidden in the woods ahead of them...

Tare looked ahaed, a bit tired, but fiercely agitated from the fight, and Lance's deeds. "(He pretty much saved us. Oh What am I thinking?
