Cloud's Responses

I am interested to know what people think would be Cloud's correct responses in relation to Cloud's personailty and want to know how Cloud would respond to certain questions and events within the game. I ask these questions as I am currently doing an essay for college relating to this subject and Cloud's personality at the start of the game is what I need to grasp.

1. Would Cloud accept the flower from Aeris or tell her she better get out of here.

2. On the train when Wedge asks Cloud if he thinks Wege has got a bright future, would Cloud say "What do you have in mind" or "I wouldn't hold my breath".

3. On the train when Jessie asks Cloud if she would like to make him a special ID card would he say "Thanks anyway" or "Looking forward to it"

4. When the little girl says she is going to tell Cloud a story would he say "don't care" or "about what?".

5. In the bar when Wedge tries to tell Cloud a story would he say "I'm not interested" or "About what"

6. In the weapon shop in the slums when the owner offeres to teach Cloud new things would he accept or resond with "Nope, the names Cloud, used to be in soldier, I got no business with you"

7. Would Cloud have a drink with Biggs in the bar or say no.

8. Would Cloud accept a drink from Tifa in the bar.

9. Would Cloud tell Wedge he is too uptight or not

10. When Cloud asks Cloud if he really doesn't care about the planet and just wants friends would he say "Blow off" or "No I really don't care".

11. Near the start of the game would Cloud run away from the chasing Shinra soldiers or fight them.

12. Would Cloud give Barret a materia tutorial or not

13. When Cloud tries to leave and Tifa says "So your going to walk out on your childhood friend?" would he respond with "...Sorry" or "How can you say that?".

14. When Aeris asks Cloud if he remembers her would he say yers or no.

15. Would he then follow up with "You're the slum drunk" or "You were selling flowers"

16. When Aeris asks Cloud if he would like to talk would he say "Got nothing to talk about" or "I don't mind".

17. When the man above the weapon shop asks if Cloud has heard the news about avalanche would he reply with "What, that again" or "......"

18. When Johnny is standing outside the Honeybee inn and asks Cloud if he is going inside too would he say "Don't bring me down to your level" or "Yeah me too!".

19. When Aeris says she is going to take Cloud to sector 6 would he "Escort her home" or "Take her along".

20. When the man in the materia shop on wall market asks Cloud to pick something up for him from the hotel as part of the dress quest would he
say "sure" or "not interested".

21. When Marlene tells Cloud she thinks Aeris likes him would he say "Lets hope so" or "I don't know".

I know that Cloud initially is very cold but it appears that Square have put in these responses for a reason and I am just trying to understand Cloud's true personality. I get the impression that he only initially warms up to Aeris and Tifa. Also does his attitude change later on such as when Avalanche are dying on the pillar would he treat them with the same cold responses or be more sympathetic.

Heh. I say Cloud's personality and responses are whatever you want them to be. Which is pretty traditional in RPGs. But his base personality is pretty much an apathetic loner to start out with. Then he gradually gets softer.

Though...you could have just played the game to know this instead of asking people. >.>;

22. In the avalanche hideout when Tifa asks Cloud if he slept well would he respond with "next to you who would'nt" or "Barretts' snoring kept me up".

Also do you think that Cloud would dress up to be picked by Don Corneo or would Cloud not getting picked fit better into the storyline?

22. Cloud would definately say B. Barret's snoring kept me up. Theres no way Cloud would actually say something like that to Tifa.

And I think Cloud would dress up. ^_^ Coz yeah.... I just do...
