(This is a reserved battle for Zeke Asakura and myself. Please do not post here if you are not either of those two.) The night sky was filled with dark clouds causing a forboding atmoshpere. They did not hide the full moon that shone like a beacon, shining on the metropolis below. It glowed an unearthly golden color drawing the gaze of whoever looked at it. And, it seemed to leer back at them with a malevolent grin. A figure that was clearly seen in the moonlight moved on the rooftop of one of the many tall skyscrapers that filled the city. The figure wore a hat that obscured his face that was not unllike a magician's hat. The robes he wore moved back and forth following the winds pattern. He walked over to the edge of the platform and looked down at the faraway ground where the cars screamed as they sped along the roads. A tail twithched, and ears flicked. He could sense the energy of the one he was persuing, but could not pinpoint it. Violet eyes skimmed the ground searching for the figure he knew was here somewhere. A sudden surge of the energy surged through the atmosphere causing his whiskers to react. He had found him. He raised his paws and tail into the air and summoned his weapons. Three different colored flashes of light appeared as each weapon emerged. He grabbed them from the air with his paws and tail. He was ready. Leaping of the building's edge, he made contact with the wall of the building, and started running down it. Jumping over the windows on the way down, he quickened his pace. He could not lose him now! Reaching the halfway point, he raised his paws in the air as he ran and a brilliant red light surrounded him. He channeled the energy into his blades and focused. Three identical bursts of flame flew toward their target from his blades as he continued his run down the side of the skyscraper.

| | The screams from the cars blocked his hearing but he felt something inside him. Something he hadn't felt in a while, he could feel someone's energy. Looking up he saw it, the cat like mage that had been hunting him day and night through this world since he came here. Where the hell was the next portal going to open? The mage was rushing at great speed and he saw the three blades in its hands and tail. He'd just have to end this now then. A new layer of screaming filled the air as the people watched the man ready himself for the battle at hand. His sword gleamed in the light of the moon and streetlights as he held it firm. The katanna was thirsty for fresh blood and he would satify its hunger. Reaching under the black robes he had on, he pulled out hand fulls of shuriken and began to propel them towards the mage. They sped at increadibile speed and with much force. As his projectiles made there way up, so did he. He didn't get his sword out for nothing and he wanted to satisfy his own thirst for a good battle. Just like his shuriken, he ran up the building at great speed. The battle would soon take full force.

| He had shot balls of flame towards the man, and he had thrown shruiken toward him. One of the shruiken had connected with one of the balls of flame and they created an explosion that consumed the rest of the projectile attacks. It seemed insignificant to the moonlight that covered everything in that golden light. He had been focused on the projectiles and was surprised to see the man running up the building towards him. But, that didn't matter. He knew he was the fastest being ever to exist. Preparing his leg legs muscles to spring, he launched through the air. Unconciously turning upright, he caused one of his blades to disapear with a flash of light, and raised his now free paw towards his opponent. A blue light erupted from his paw and the spell took place. A sphere of water emerged seemingly from nowhere around his foe. He had to maintain his concentration to pull this off. He continued his fall throught the air that rushed past his black fur, and landed on the sidewalk of the street. A small shockwave came from where he had landed, but he didn't notice. His tail twitched and so did his whiskers in anticipation. He almost hoped his foe would escape from the water. To him, it would be a pity if he didn't manage to survive for at least a while longer.

| | Holding his breath, the man thought to himself "Is this the best he can do?". With that thought, he started to gather some of his energy and the black aura slowly formed around him. He had to work fast but he didn't wnat to get out to easily. With a small portion of his energy summoned, he broke free of his watery prison. Taking a quick gasp for air, he focused himself back on the building side and looked down onto the sidewalk. People were now fleeing for there lifes as the street was soon deserted. He stared at the mage, looking at his beastly features, it was like nothing he had ever seen before. Although he had been attacked by this thing a few times before, he couldn't get over the way it looked. "How about we finish this on the rooftops, that way we won't be seen." He turned around and began spiriting upto the top. His darker side whispered into his ear, a new plan of attack? He was almost at the top he started to chant. The wind grew ever more powerful and magic crackled in the air. With a click of his fingers, a huge gust of wind blew down the side of the building. Glass windows were ripped from there frames and shattered into thousands of pieces as this wind sped down. The mage would have to do something or this wind magic would crush him. If not that, the glass would kill him too.

| His opponent had summoned some sort of aura and broken free of the sphere of water. That was an unusual power, one that he didn't know much about. This would be a challenge after all. He just hoped he wasn't as strong as he thought he was. "How about we finish this on the rooftops, that way we won't be seen." An unusual offer. He had assumed that he woud continue the battle in the street. But, this could be a more favorable environment for him. He was probably better at leaping from rooftop to rooftop and he could use his speed to his advantage there. While his oppnenent waas running up the side of the building, he considered. A light breeze began to blow, rustling his fur and whiskers. However, this was no natural wind. This came from him! The wind increased in intensity and the source of the wind became evident. It was a force of wind traveling downward in his direction carrying shards of glass from the windows that it had broken. So, he was a rather decent magician also. Quickly scanning his options, he knew that his odds of getting through this attack unscathed were not high. However, this option had the best odds. He qickly summoned his other blade, and started the spell. The air grew frigid as it started to take place and a whote light shone from the ground. Ice began to acumulate and grow upwards. It grew taller as the gale approached. A shard of glass flew out of it and scored a gash across his left arm. With a cry of pain, the wall started to melt. "No!" His eyes seemed to glow an eerie violet and the spell quickly finished. A wall of ice completly encircled him. The sound of the glass slicing into the ice and the howling of the wind could be heard from inside the ice wall. After a period of time that seemed like forever, it finally subsided. With a grin, he jumped over the wall, and started to run up a adjacent building. As he ran upwards, he caused the ice wall to explode. The force of the explosion and the needles of ice that flew from it caused the foundation of the building where he had seen his foe running up to collapse. As the building began to fall, he continued to run up, grinning.

| | "Now why did you have to go do a thing like that?" he said towards the mage as the leaped to another rooftop. Lucky for him, the building he had just lept on wasn't going collide with the one already falling. He smiled through his mask as he saw the cat/human being come closer. "hmph, so you do have some fighting skill then." He watched carefully for any openings yet his darker side was now screaming in his ear 'Attack with full force and crush that thing now!'. The wind was stronger up were he was, it was the perfect place to forge his blade. He began chanting and yet again the wind was swirling around him but with greater force. Magical energy raged around him as he held out his hand. Soon the wind was taking form in the shape of a katanna. It was much longer than the one he orginally had. When it eventually turned solid, the new made blade shone in the moonlight. It was as sharp and deadly at the one he used before. He laughed towards the mage as he swung his sword towards him. As he did an other huge wave of wind traveled down towards the mage. He swung more and more. When he stopped, about 5 wind waves were ripping there way down the building side. This was only a sample of his new found blades power, could the mage survive another wave?

| He had jumped off the top of the building to avoid being crushed. But, why did he have to leap onto this building? And to further complicate the situation, he had sent five waves of air to attampt to finish him now. Was this person a wind sorceror? There was a simple solution to avoid these attacks. That is, if they weren't magical and woud home in on his location. Taking a deep breath, he stopped his sprint upwards, and dug his claws into the building to prevent himself from falling. He then kicked a window to break it, and the shards fell inward into the room. Swinging in, he waited for the waves to pass by. If they did. He held all three blades at the ready to try to negate the attack as best he could as he waited. He had no way to be sure that he would be safe here. A few seconds later, and the first wave passed the window, blowing some of the shards around, but leaving him unharmed. There. He had to leave now and try to surprise his foe. He had been playing defense for too long. It was time to get on the offensive. He ran to the door and actually opened it before continuing. This was a business area. It was full of cublicles and desks covered with papers awaiting signiture. Turning his head side to side, he searched, careful not to knock anything over. A whisker trembled slightly, and he turned around. An open window facing the side of a building with a breeze floating through it. Perfect. First gauging the distance of about eight feet, he then threw the blade in his right hand. It flew straight and went through the window. He took a running jump and landed in the room of the other building. He rolled with the inpact and continued after grabbing his fallen blade. His violet eyes caught sight of an elevator and his tail twitched. It would be the fastest way, but he didn't like the confinement of them. He ran to it, and pressed the up button. It opened immediately and he walked in. He reached upwards to the small trapdoor in the ceiling of the and opened it. He jumped through it and landed on the top of the elevator. He scanned upwards and noticed the fact that he was near the top. However, he wan't close enough to just jump the distance. He would have to make a way up there. He took a second taking aim, and threw all three blades. They landed in the sides of the elevator shaft with equal intervals between them, on alternating sides. He leaped upwards and grabbed the lowest one and springed off the side toward the next one, still gripping the first. He made his way up in this fashion, and stopped to consider his plan of attack. He probably would still think he was still in the other building, so he would have the element of surprise. It would have to be done quickly so that he wouldn't be able to dodge it so easily. He might be able to take on in a direct fight. He did have three blades compared to his one. However, that was probably better left as a last resort. Perhaps he wouldn't be expecting wind magic. It could work. He burst out of the door and noticed as it swung open, that it had started to rain. That could come in handy. The moon still fully showed and its light was as clear as ever. He raised a paw and a smaller tornado began to form. Its suction drew in some of the rain. and it became a spiral of both wind and water. This could be interesting. He then pointed with his upraised paw and it moved toward the building where his opponent had been. The tornado moved at a quick pace, and he grinned once again.

| | Looking down he saw the carnage he had brung to this city. In to little time he had destroyed so much, it was to easy. The problem was, he could see if the mage was dead or not from this height. Even with his improved sences he could see that far. As he was about to walk down the side of the building, he felt energy being gathered. He turned around and saw the water tornado. It was to closer to stop all of it. His wind katanna easily aborbed the wind magic in it but the water knocked him back off the building. His hair was now loose and hanging everywhere. That attack didn't impress him as he walked back onto the roof. He looked up and stared at the storm clouds above them, so thats were it got the water from. Holding his arm out with his palm opening, a fire ball formed in his hand. The flames raged uncontrolably as it gathered more power. Satisfied he threw it into the air. As soon as it hit the clouds it exploded into a swirling inferno. The clouds were blown away by the blast and the rain stopped. As if that wasn't enough, left over fire energy started to rain instead and the city was soon a lit in fire. "Doesn't it just warm you inside" he said with a sadistic smile on his face. He was now gripping his blade tighter than ever. "Just so you know, the wind feeds both me and my blade energy. As long as i hold this katanna i will always have plenty of energy. The wind can't be stopped so neither can ym energy." He laughed at the mage as he swung his blade. Wind waves were hurled through the air as the man took a giant leap into the air. He sped towards the mage, sword held high and in his mind was ultimatly going to be brought down about his oppnent

| He obviously held power over both fire and wind. That was obvious now. He probably wouldn't do very well against the combination of different elements as long as they weren't fire or wind. The air had warmed up a considerable amount. His fur was thick, and he didn't like the heat. He knew that he would not be able to last long in this heat. He would have to do something to dispel it, and turn it into an advantage. If he could stop both wind and fire, he could probably win. If he remembered right, wind was caused by uneven areas of temperature. If he cause the surrounding area to become the same temperature throughout the whole area, wind would cease. To do that, he would have to douse the flames first. Which was practically impossible. He would probably have to find some other way to turn the tables. An idea occured to him, and he grinned. Until he saw the waves of wind soaring toward him, with his opponenet following with his katana held high. He had evaded the waves before, but it was unlikely in this situation. He leapt into the air, but too late. The first wave collided with him, and they flew together. His weight was starting to cause it to dissipate. Right over the street. He started to fall, increasing in speed the longer he fell. He saw it. The only chance of survivng this unharmed was about twenty feet below him. His tail reached out for it and tensed in preperation of the impact. It conected, and quickly wrapped around the flagpole coming from the building's side. He hung there for a few moments, and used it to catapult himself back into the air. He landed back onto the roof where his opponent now waited. He wouldn't win in a direct fight, so he would add in a surprise. He raised his paws toward the inferno above where the moon still shone, and the flames formed clouds. Rather odd clouds, burning with the flames within, but still clouds. Three weapons were raised higher, and lightning lashed out form the skies. It didn't fly toward his foe, that would be too predictable, it hit himself. He channeled it through his blades and fur, and became electrified. He grinned as sparks traveled around his body. "Try to strike me, and watch yourself be electrocuted. Want to test it?" He grinned and raised his blades upward, at the ready.

| | The man smiled back "Who said anything about needing to touch you? Wind waves don't require me touching you and neither do spells. All you've done is stop close combat." He laughed at the mages pathetic excuse for a defensive spell. Holding his hand out again, the fire regrouped in his hand although the city was still ablaze. Focusing more energy into it, the flames grew more unpredictable. Just as it looked as if it was going to explode in his hand, he threw it again. This time though, he threw it at the mage. Taking a jump backwards, he went back to the building he was standing on before. As he soared through the air he swung his blade. Wind waves were again hurled at the mage. The man never thought that one thing would be enough, he always had to attack more. His darker side was yelling at the top of its lungs 'OVERKILL'. His ears were now ringing from the scream yet he took its advice. A huge explosion of fire energy and wind waves weren't enough. As he landed, he reached for his shuriken. They shone in the moon's light as he hurled them at what ever was left of the mage. In his mind he knew that nothing could have survived that but still there was a small chance the mage was alive.

| "Can't you think of anything more original? Fire, wind waves, and shruiken all over again." He wouldn't have to worry about the shruiken, the electrity would take care of those, he just needed to stop the flames and the waves. This was a more concetrated assualt than anything else so far. Why not respond and fight fire with fire? Well, not literally. First, he would need to stop that ball of flame. He combined the powers of water and ice, and created a beam of ice that gittered and cooled down the surrounding air. The beam struck the flaming ball. It halted and so did the beam. They were both trying to nullify each other and they move back and forth, growing weaker. The beam finally gave out and the sphere of heat energy continued along its previous course. Leg muscles strained, then propelled himself high into the air and the force of fire hit where he had been and exploded. The heat was intense and but quickly faded. Now for the wind waves. They flew at a constant speed emitting a shrill noise as they cut through the air. He knew what he would have to do to dispel them this time. His whiskers would tell him exactly when to do it. He created a wall of water and the wave hit it, and caused it to ripple, but they were slowed by the water's denser particles, and disapeared. The shruken now arrived. The electricty surged, and struck each one as it came close, sending them in a different direction. His fur was now standing on end as the electricity still coursed through it. He landed on another building now, three buildings away from his opponent. Now, it was his turn. He would need to preform three spells at the same time. He had learned most types of spells, but his thunder, water, and ice spells were strongest. He would need them for the rest of this battle. First, he created another wall of water, and sent it toward his opponent at a fast speed. This was only a diversion, though. Next, the clouds once again rumbled with thunder and lightning emerged. It didn't fly toward the ground, it flew upwards, nearly invisible in the moonlight. It struck the moon, and surged. A piece of the moon, about one eighth of it, now floated freely. A gravity spell later, and it now flew toward his opponent. "A delightful game, isn't it?"

| | "Yes i have to agree but if you intend to send that piece of the moon at me, you have to think what would happened to this world?" He laughed at him as he focused his energy into his feet and lept over the water wall. "The moon controls the tides so if you take some of it away, you know the effects it would cause?" He looked up and could see it slowly making it way closer. He was going to do something different now. He placed his sword back on his back and put both his hand together and chanted. As he did, the blackness around him grew darker and engulfed him more. Slowly he opened his hands and a ball of greenish energy was growing. Its power pulsed as it grew in size. It was only small like the fire ball but incredible powerful. Not long after starting his spell, its power grew out of control. He focused more and if finally stabilised. Happy with it he threw it at the mage and shouted "Ultima!!!". He travled with great speed and picked up more energy from its surroundings as it went. Before long it was at the mage, could he avoid such a powerful spell?
