some news about gambit and licsense grid

ok all of you now know that there are no random battles with enemies you have to do real time battle like summoner 1 and 2 but much better.

the gambit system lets you choose certain tasks when you hp or mp reach a certain perecentage for example if you hp was under 50% then you could go on gambit menu and choose a gambit then choose hp under 50% then choose a option to use like hp under 50 ththe len use potion or cure spells this sounds really confusing but it sounds easy if you read the maual comes with the game or you understand it anyway you must also find that gambit first before using it they can be found anywhere in the world i have no clue because i have not got this game as of yet

the licsense gid is very similiar to th sphere grid in ff10 but the lg system has summons on there limit breaks or mist knacks skills gambits equipment to equip and loads more before learning the licese you must first make sure you have enough lp or license points to get these you must either defeat enemies or dotasks i think then if you want to learn magic for example you must also buy the magic skill for shops these shops sell all magic then buy it once and get that character to learn that magic skill and they will learn magic depending on the one you bought

to get summons on the grid you must unfortunately defeat them in battle and then learn them on the grid and make sure you have enough lp to get it though lol

What about like other weapon skills, like Armor break or something like that. Do you either have to laern it from the grid it, but have to buy the skill at a shop, or you just buy it and learn it automatically.

i am not sure about weapon skills because i do not have the game yet because i have to wait for it to come it.

Yeah i'm not sure about some things in the license point area but it looks like its set out on a huge chess gridd (each character having their own, sort of like the sphere grid in FFX i suppose) but you get 1 License point from an enemy and skills cost anywhere from 20-80 LP (from what i've seen).

Each skill you learn is labelled like White Magic lvl. 4 or Black magic lvl. 3 and on each square like that gives spells....i'm not sure if you have to buy them before you activate them.

With the Gambits its like Materia from FF7. You find a gambit saying "Perform action at < (less than) 100% HP or > (Greater than) 50% HP" and if you pair that with a command such as cure it would be like:

"At < (lower than) 50% HP cast cure"

Also you given an amount of slots say about 4 for you to place individual gambits so it might look like this for your AI given to Ashe.

"At <50% HP cast 'cure'"
"At <100% HP 'steal' from enemy"
"At enemy HP <70% cast 'Fire' spell"
"At <10% MP cast 'Osmose'"

*I'm still not sure if it works this way entirely but thats definately what it came across like to me.

The other day I'm was reading one of my old Game Informer magazines. The May issue. and when purchase a spell it means you can use it, but you need to go to a magic shop to physically purchase the spell in order to cast it in battle. It does the same with armor and weapons. But one thing that bothers me is do you start at a certain point and move your way like 1 step at a time like the sphere grid to access abilties and such?

From what I have seen on the License board there is NO retriction as to the spells your allowed to activate on it. Although you must have the correct amount of LP (license points) to get it after buying it.

The only limitaion that i've seen in activating them is that for each character their are about 3 different sections that don't connect. I'm not sure if you can activate the ones on the different section unless you are on it.

Kinda like FFX sphere grid were you need a Lvl 3 Key to move on.

I really dont think my question has anything to do with this but for anyone who has it in other countries when you switch armor and weapons can you see it on the character or do they look the same. JW
