Your Perfect Sub!

I just came back from subway a little while ago, and I thought, "hey this could be a good topic for the TFF Forums," so here I am right now, making another food-based topic. I have the most unusual subs you could imagine, I usually get a 12 inch tuna sub on italian herbs and cheese bread, with extra american cheese, and thats it, seriously my friends think it is one of the most unusual subs ever. I also like the personal pan pizza's they started selling, but I don't buy them that often. So the question is... what do you like on your sub when you go to Subway?

Mine is usually very simple. My favorite is the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on wheat bread. I usually put on a couple kinds of cheese, tomatoes, and the onion sauce. That's really about it. They are the tastiest damn things...

I also enjoy the Tuna on wheat as well. With that I usually add lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and mayo. Those are quite tasty also....

The meatball subs are good too. I Keep those fairly simple. Just the meatballs and sauce, and then I add swiss or american cheese... MM MM.

So yeah. Subway. YAY!

I like to keep it simple when I get a sub. It's either Meatball on White, or Turkey, Cheese, and Lettuce on Wheat. I'm a pretty picky eater, even when I'm stoned out of my mind.

I get your most boring sub ever. But its tasty!!!

Turkey and provolone on Italian herb bread. (toasted of couse

) and lettuce, onion, and tomato.

Ok another food topic

Anyway I had Subway for dinner tonight, normally I have Meatballs with Creamy Cheese, Letace(sp), Sliced Tomatoes & Olives with Honey Mustard Sauce on Italian herbs bun, slightly toasted. Today I thought I'd add Green peppers and onions but it was spicey which kind of ruined it but oh well. The new Boneless pork one was quite nice as well as the Chicken Tarayaki(sp).

Same here! You sir, not only have fantastic taste in kitchen appliances and music, but also a great taste in.....taste. o_o

I don't often go to Subway, and we don't have many Subway shops here in Britain, but there is one near here!

I've been there once or twice.

I enjoy meatballs and lettuce. Or meatballs and cheese. NEVER meatballs lettuce and cheese at the same time, though, ew ew ew.

I'm incredibly picky in the foods I eat, but I adore all Italian foods. Hence the meatball obssession.

Is that really how your mind works?

Anyways, I haven't had a sub in a while. They really don't offer too much to vegetarians, none the less vegans. A few vegtables and sauce is really all that subway has. If I were to make my own, I'd probably use slices of soy ham with some honey mustard sauce and a load of pickles. I love pickles on a sandwhich.

I don't usually go too crazy when I go to subway I either get a Sweet onion teriyaki with everything ('cept peppers and olives) Ora Mesquite chicken with bacon..L,T,and C of course. Also I sometimes get a meatball with cheese and that's it

I hardly ever have them toasted and their usually always on white bread.

I tend to be pretty simple when it comes to my subs. I usually go for tuna on wheat with cheese, spinach, mayo and red wine vinegerette.

The sweet onion teriyaki on cheese bread with lots of onions does the job as well.

The main ingredient of choice for me and I have to have plenty of it is cheese.

I've eaten there a few times...parmesan oregano bread zomg @_@ and crab and many spicy pepper green thingies and I'm sure there were other things on there of notice...all it was missing was noodles.

And the cookies are the yum.

I remember feeling the urge to replace one of the containers 'o food with my head and bite the sandwich making peoples fingers when they tried to put me on a sandwich. Mm. Blood.

DEFINATLY cheese and salad (minus olives and tomatos) on Italian herb bread. I always have that. No meat for me please.

If I could make my own up, though, it would have brie, medium or mature cheddar, philadelphia and red leister cheeses with salad (minus olives and tomato) in an italian herb bread. I made something like this before at home, and it was the greatest ploughmans roll EVER!

My favorite sub? Well, it's from Subway (due to the fact that there are no authentic Italian places around here, I am forced to go here).

Italian BMT with:

American and Provalogne cheese
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Black olives
Pickles
Mayo
Spicy mustard
Oil
On Italian herbs and cheese...toasted

Excellent sub.

mmmmmmm subway... i always get either the tuna on italian with lettuce tomatos and onion or a chipotle southwest cheese stake on italian herbs and cheese with lettuce tomato onion and chipotle sauce. it's yummy. and provalone cheese on either one i get.
